The new Game Buyer Magazine is out and on the back is an advertisement for Lorwyn. It says:
Everyone Likes Elves. Or Goblins. Or Merfolk. Or Faeries. Or Treefolk. Or Elementals. Or Kithkin. Or Giants.
Lorwyn.
Elves, goblins, merfolk, and the other powerful tribes of Magic clash in battle throughout the fantasy world of Lorwyn. The highly popular tribal theme has long been a favorite of veteran players and it makes deckbuilding easier for new customers.
As the large set in a new block, Lorwyn offers gamers of all skill levels the chance to play in a traditional setting with all-new mechanics-and the exciting prospect of a new card type: planeswalkers.
But I'd love for someone to call the phone numbers on there and say you're calling about "the Akroma / future profits ad". Just to see what the response is.

Definitely real. Game Buyer magazine is sent out to retailers on a monthly basis and WOTC advertises in it. Obviously, the mag is skewed toward retailers so the tagline of "future profits" is prompting retailers to order more.
