Interesting card. It does potentially help to solve one of the problems I run into (player A wraths, dudes come back w/o counters, player B wraths). Having to connect first though doesn't make for the most reliability.
I'm playing a c16 league with Stalwart Unity and am currently on top. You have precious few wincons so you have to keep a low profile through the game and protect those cards. Make allies. Like trading a Humble Defector back and forth with one other player. When another player complains, bribe them; help them get a key spell through, or fog to keep them from taking a big hit. You won't eliminate a lot of players, but you can be last man standing.
What are you running w/ the same or higher CMC as Mulldrifter? While I'm all for reducing curve, I cannot imagine cutting Mulldrifter. 1) You're much more likely to find something you want to cast in your own deck than your opponents. 2) Lower curve helps improve velocity and you end up just wanting more cards anyway. I'd want to find a way to run both.
After playing this deck for 2+ years now I find myself looking for a way to mix things up a little bit. Has anyone ever tried jamming a few extra combat effects? I personally run Scourge of the Throne and if he gets to attack at least one player usually dies. And if I get to clone him...
That being the case, I'm thinking about jamming a few extra combat affects. These seem the best, though there are others:
I dunno. I run Flamekin Village and so Hanweir Battlements seems like a pretty straightforward swap. From there Hanweir Garrison seems like a pretty simple inclusion, though slots are getting really hard to come by lately.
Chaos Warp and/or Clutch of the Undercity. Unfortunately Grixis colors are not so great when it comes to enchantment removal. One of the guys in my group, if he pulls out a white deck, I don't even bother with Marchesa because he'll have RIP, Relic, Crypt, and Stonecloaker (and then recycle Crypt w/ Sun Titan). At least.
Unspeakable Symbol is pretty much a staple. Beyond that, I usually find being aggressive is sufficient to get counters going. Spoils of War seems a little awkward since X could easily become a bit prohibitive to cast. Does it work well for you?
@Saydee1800 your curve seems pretty high. I'd try to round out the Signet package and add the Talismans. The two drop ramp is better than the three drop because it enables a T3 Marchesa. Plus the Talismans can be useful for keeping dethrone active.
More creatures is usually better as well. You also seem pretty light on sac outlets. I'd probably start by axing the counterspells, Cruel Ultimatum, Transgress the Mind, Roast, Grave Betrayal, Curse of Stalked Prey.
Perhaps because, you know, it's not even remotely Proliferate though this does seem to be a trendy sort of complaint of late.
This seems to be a problem that afflicts a great many legendary creatures lately

Re: Asylum Visitor - it's probably too cute, but he partners nicely w/ Mindslicer
