Varilax, the Omniform 3(U/B)(U/B)
Legendary Creature - Shapeshifter (4/3)
Transmute 1UU; transfigure 1BB
Blue cards in your hand have transmute 2UU.
Other black creatures you control have transfigure 2BB. Varilax does make up its mind. But not until it makes up the rest of its body.
So by virtue of Counterburn existing, all Ornithopters and Pacts are automatically countered?
I had one that's similar to Temporal Reflux:
Longing Memory UU
Enchantment UU: Counter target spell. Activate this ability only any time you could cast an interrupt. (You could cast interrupts between August 1993 and April 1999.)
Earthspitter Hellion 4RR
Creature - Hellion (*/*)
Trample, haste
You may sacrifice two Mountains rather than pay Earthspitter Hellion's mana cost.
Earthspitter Hellion's power and toughness are each equal to the number of Mountains you control.
Pretty sure Magic has a different name for the concept.
And since this wipes lands, you can't pay to roll more than once each turn, so 2/3 of turns just consist of "draw a card", and half the ones that don't still aren't going to be very interesting.
How many instants and sorceries are just blank on an empty board anyway?
Legacy Retriever 2WW
Creature - Human Wizard (2/4)
If an opponent controls three or more artifacts, you may cast Legacy Retriever without paying its mana cost.
Lifelink, protection from artifacts WW, Sacrifice Legacy Retriever: Gain control of target artifact. (This effect lasts indefinitely.)
Resonating Shell
{}
Enchantment
Resonating Shell is white.
Morph 2WW
All creatures lose all abilities and are 2/2. As the creature’s true form emerged into reality, the forces halted their advance and were left humiliated by what just happened. This one, it appeared, was different.
Jeska, Mending Medium 3BR
Creature Planeswalker - Jeska (0/0) (4)
Jeska, Mending Medium gets +1/+1 for each loyalty counter on it.
Damage dealt to Jeska isn't marked on it.
[+0]: Jeska deals 1 damage to target creature. Then put loyalty counters on Jeska equal to the damage dealt to that creature this turn.
[-7]: Untap all other creatures and gain control of them until end of turn. They gain haste until end of turn.
I stick loyalty on the type line, just as I stick power and toughness on the type line when I submit creatures. Heck, so does Gatherer in standard listing format. In any case, it's there and it's 3.
I voted for Ikeda today, even though I assume that card is intended to allow the player to play a land card if you chose that (it's written with "cast" and you can't cast land cards, so as written you can swipe a land and force a 4-stick).
Serra, Queen of Light 1WW
Planeswalker - Serra (3)
[+1]: Put a basic Plains land token onto the battlefield.
[-0]: Until end of turn, target creature becomes a 4/4 Angel and gains flying and vigilance.
[-7]: Exile all creatures. For the rest of the game, you may play cards exiled this way and you may spend white mana as though it were mana of any color.
Remorse seems way too swingy. Permanent, instant-speed control of potentially multiple creatures, without having to defend an Aura, for one over Persuasion?
Submission: "Tap target creature. Its controller chooses one - he or she loses life equal to its converted mana cost, or you gain control of that creature."
Piqued Fires 1R
Instant
Piqued Fires deals 5 damage to target artifact, enchantment, or land. “‘Don’t I know how to do anything more than burn things?’ they say. Next thing they know, their flesh just so happens to be charred away. What a waste of my time.”

How does this card-making game work? It's simple! Whenever your card receives a vote in the day's poll, you receive 1 point for the month. If your card ends up with the most votes for that day, you will receive 2 additional points for the month. In the event of a tie, each person who tied receives 1 additional point. At the end of each month, the person with the most points on the scoreboard wins that month, then the scoreboard is cleared for the next month. You can play in as many or as few days as you want in any month.
Here are the rules for entering:
Each day you may post any card you want. On the next day all of the posted cards will be put into a poll as long as you voted. If you post more than one card in a DCC thread, only the first card you post will be taken.
Your card will not be added to the next day's poll unless you also vote in the current poll for that day (or put your vote in your post). If you vote for yourself, it will not count and your card will not be put in the next day's poll. (You only receive one warning if you fail to vote [the asterisk next to your username]; thereafter, your card will not be added if you miss voting.)
If you wish to post a render, please use the hyperlink option when posting your card and make the card-name the image link. Renders are usually large enough to clog up the list, so submit a text-formed card and (optionally) a link in the name to the render.
This thread is just for your card submission. Take your questions/comments to our discussion thread.
