I think its funny u guys are now talking about etched champion ..when i talked about him some 20-30 pages back and everyone said he was trash..so if someone at the worlds was playing turn to frog in their deck..would we all be adding blue to the deck?

I believe the Phyrexian Metamorph will become an Inkmoth Nexus. A land. (Well, and an artifact.) Not animated. You can manually animate it like a regular Nexus later.

Typically clone effects copy whatever is printed on a permanent (unless said permanent is a token or a copy of another permanent).

If u ask me..im pretty sure if u copy an active inkmoth the clone with stay an active inkmoth..because when u clone the wolf side of a werewolf it doesnt ever flip back..

Over the weekend I had a chance to try my Titan against a friend running G/W Humans. I used to pretty much dominate the MU with this setup, but this time he did some tweaking and I could barely keep up - even with Titan down, it was usually down to the wire. I still managed to draw 3-3 with him, but the game pretty much proved that my deck need more speed/tempo.

So today I took the plunge and traded me a full set of SCMs... (Oh how I'll miss you, Lili - but I'll always have those cellphone pics, Grin ) luckily I must've caught my LGS at an opportune time.

Now I've largely changed my deck over to the fish variant and it's a huge change from the Titan build. From some initial playtesting, I feel the deck's tempo is finally up to near what I remember my old skies(fish) deck used to be. Gonna do some more friendly game testing and then maybe some more serious play once all my cards come in. I still have my old cards, so I'll also try tweaking my old build for tempo.

Im assuming u traded 4 lilis for the SCM..if not please let me know where u can get 4 $30 cards for a $40 card lol

@Superman 8 - I don't like Skaab just for the fact if I get rid of him than I have no fliers other than Delver if he goes off.
I found that if Gideon or Sun Titan sit in my hand it's because it is not the right time to play them compared to being a bad play.

How is that any different with the drake..if u lose him u have no fliers besides delver..but unlike the drake..u can bring the skaab back

Any room for Tumble Magnet? What would it be used for? I read somewhere about a TS deck maining them.

I used to really like Tumble Magnet..but to me I cant get over the 3 mana cost. We have enough competing for that spot..and shrine is already the dead draw card in the deck..

I've tried the GA side and I just find it harder to win than with Sun Titan.
    Maybe it's my meta? I don't know.
I mean we have maybe one RDW/WRR, a bunch of mono black infect, solar flares and then just random FNM casuals.

I am having little trouble with Sun Titan Varient, I am looking to tweak it though, I will agree that Fish a lot faster and in general better but I feel that Sun Titan is more well rounded and can take the game into control or aggro compared to Delver's more aggro sided deck.

The comments I got against my deck is that they couldn't figure out whether it was control or aggro, since I had games where it was land go for 3 turns but then have games where it is turn 4 with bear, lord, 2 lord images already. I found that to be a big advantage, people were even talking about Todd's Delver Illusions before the FNM started.

That's what I have now, switched out dragon for drakes just recently so I am not sure if I like it more or not.

Edit: Forgot to mention, GA has more hate against it due to everyone expecting Wurmcoils and big artifact drops. I found my opponents only sided about 4 cards at most, which were 1 drop instant target spells to deal with bears/images.

I like this deck..its close to my build..and I agree with u on ur reasons to play it..If I were u..id sideboard Gideon..he is great..but with having sun titan already in the deck..u dont wanna rely too heavily on turn 5-6..I also play the skaab over the drake..as he is prefect for sun titan to revive..and get around his additional cost.

this is my build..I dont have a sideboard yet.

    Why?

    With Marrow Shards:

-You don't need to pay two life, but of course you can.
    -Helps your shrines.
-Kills all attacking Inkmoth, not just one.

Marror Shards doesn't do any of the important things Gut Shot does.

    1: Kill mana creatures
2: Kill Delver of Secrets before it is a 3/2
3: Kill Snapcaster Mage and Inkmoth Nexus before they block
4: Grim Lavamancer will not attack, it's gonna sit there and throw damage at you till you are dead.
5: So many times I have pinged a dude just so my guys can get through to do the damage instead of catching a chump block.
6: Birds of Paradise never attack early, they just sit there and tap for mana or chump block so that is another reason Gut Shot is better. Time these hit the table you want them dead before they can be used.

Sun Titan decks are a different monster entirely and shouldn't be using an Illusion package aside from some number of Phantasmal Image.

Ill have to strongly disagree..copying a sun titan with the image and having it get the +1 and have hexproof is beast..plus running the illusions is what gives titan decks a hope of winning without just relying on the titan..

My current Tempered Steel deck in real life has no problem with Wolf Run Ramp. In the sideboard I have 3 Nevermore (Which I side in against everything) and 3 Marrow Shards to kill their inkmoth nexus.

I almost always draw Nevermore in my first ten cards (not sure why I do, but I'm not complaining.) If I know he has Grudge (so if I've seen it or if I see both R/G dual lands) then I choose that, but if he can have 6 mana next turn I choose his titan, my 4 Gitaxian Probes can help me decide. Also another Nevermore is never far behind. My 4 Dispatch can also help tap/exile his titan or inkmoth.

Another thing that makes my list able to withstand Grudge is the fact that is has a large amount of creatures and creature producing cards: (The lack of heros is because I don't have money for that right now, just letting you know.)

One of the only problems after all of that is if they're running Wurmcoil Engine, if I run out of Dispatches that usually poses as a big problem because I can't outrun the life link. Good thing most lists only run a one or two of them.

Id run Gut Shot over Marrow Shards..

Why isn't this deck in Competitive? It's more popular than MBI according to this and good lists just destroy almost anything that doesn't have fast answers/control or isn't an equally matched aggro deck like G/W Aggro or U/W Humans.

I think its because all they have to do is side in 4 ancient grudges and watch us burn..went against a wolf run ramp ..had him first game..second game he ancient grudged everything i brought out..until i was gone..

U ask me..there just isnt room..for ponder..I understand we need the draw to get to TS..but id rather run the probe that doesnt make me use dual lands..but still I dont see the room for it..and Im using enough phyrexian mana things..

The deck got tons of raves but as I said it just left me pissed at it when it lost me my top 8 shot.

Which is what scares me..I run a titan illusion build..that i wish was a lot faster..this build seems better..but not sure if hunting down the SCMs is worth the time if the deck doesnt even top 8. SCM's arent cheap right now..I am thinking of dropping Jace's Archivist for the delver at least that would speed it up some and then have my sun titan as a late game finisher..

I run a mono WW. also if you are going green place in 4x gavony township that card is what MAKES a WW/G. take out a couple of Mikaeus, put in Angelic Overseer instead. Take out a couple of accorder paladins and Never More and put in Fiend Hunter instead. Still does removal and gains and gives buffs for damage. Also you dont need 4 bonds of faith... definatly add in Mentor of the Meek only wany to keep a steady stream of cards flowing because the cars in your hand will go FAST! and possibly 2-4x Grand Abolisherand Elite Inquisitor both are fairly good especially Grand abolisher. All in all I enjoy the deck and have fun!

I wouldnt suggest adding Mentor of the Meek if they are playing Honor..everything else I agree on..
