That is actually wrong. Unless you've given her 4 toughness. If your humans all die, she still has 3 damage on her when she becomes a normal 5/3 again. That means she dies sadly. good thing township fixes that.
It's the same as having two Mayor of Avabrucks Arc Trailed. They do 2 damage to one and 1 damage to the other, once the first dies the second only has a toughness of 1, so he dies too.
^I don't play in tournaments (just a playgroup), but this thing is amazing, and every bit as high quality as it claims to be. I carry five decks (4 Legacy, 1 casual). There's enough room for a sideboard for each, and I like to carry enough cards relating to each deck so I can change up the lists a little if I feel like it (LED/LEDless Dredge and a half dozen or so Dread Return targets; UW Stoneblade with or without Misstep, Visions/Standstill, and several possible sword and creature bases; every card for just about every build of Merfolk, etc.). It's a little pricy, but considering I have about $3k worth of cards in it, I don't think it's too much to ask to have a nice carrier.
I'll second the Dragon's Egg. I love mine. I carry three decks inside plus sleeves for drafting and a bag of dice up top. For something so small in holds a surprising amount of stuff.
Out of the 6 packs I opened today for the Launch Party sealed tournament I got 2 packs that had 3 rares and and 2 packs that had 2 rares. I ended up with 12 rares out of 6 packs, no mythics unfortunately.
I went to events at two stores today and got between 10 and 12 packs. The thing that has me a little concerned about the prices is that I saw an abnormally large number of mythics being pulled today. People seemed to be pulling Planeswalkers and Titans left and right, it was nuts. I have never seen that many mythics pulled in a limited event4 before.
I like the new system so far, for someone like me who doesn't necessarily win a lot but loves to play this is good. The one thing I'm not liking is that when I look at the leader board I can only narrow down the results to my state, not my city like I could before, so it's impossible to see who the top players are in my area.
Can you explain to me why Charcoal Diamond and Fire Diamond are bad and why I need more land? The diamonds seem like they'd be good to me. As for the land, most of the deck is relatively low casting cost and I think I have enough ramp to keep things going.
The main thing I want to do with this deck is to make a whole lot of goblin tokens so I doubt having enough goblins for Goblin War Strike is going to be a problem.
As for the other threats you mentioned, I don't really see those as being big problems for this deck. I've got plenty of ways to dig stuff out of my graveyard and deck.
Let me start out by saying that I've never played EDH before but it looks like a fun format so I want to give it a try. I love playing goblin decks and I happen to have a Wort, Boggart Auntie so I thought I'd give a deck using her as the commander a try.
I haven't actually finished building this deck so I haven't been able to try it out yet but I would really appreciate some feedback from people that know this format a lot better than I do.
I had the same thing happen to me with the Devour for Power deck...but I ended up with the half of the deck with the land, so I got 80 land and 20 other cards that aren't worth anything. I really need to give Wizards a call today.
So, I've been testing a bunch of cards in my four-of slot: Porcelain Legionnaire, Skitter of Lizards (actually a lot better than you would think), and Gitaxian Probe. I chose probe in the end... but is there anything else I should test? And don't even say Flayer Husk; I hate that guy so much. Also, congrats, new guy! Well done!
We had 15 people for game day, 4 rounds cut to the top 8. I went 2-1-1. I won the first round very easily, he was playing a very slow control/proliferate deck and didn't really stand a chance against my Kuldotha Red. Round two I ended up getting a little lucky in game three, he missed a land drop which gave me the chance I needed to win. Round three I got paired up against a guy who is the top player in town and in the top 20 constructed players in the whole state. I didn't really expect I'd beat him, which I didn't, but I won the first game of that round so that made me feel good. Round four my opponent and I tied so we could be guaranteed to get into the top 8 and get the Black Sun's Zenith. Then I lost in the first round of the top 8 match. But overall I thought it went well for me.
The real story at our game day though was the guy that ended up coming in second place. He bought the black/blue infect event deck and played it straight out of the box, no changes, he didn't even bother to sleeve it. He won every round and got to the top 8, won again to go to top 4, his opponent for the top 4 match had to leave because he was sick so he made the top 2 and then ended up losing. It was quite fun to watch.
I would love some feedback on this one. I haven't really had the chance to test it out yet, I'm trying to decide if it's worth investing the money in the cards for it first. It seems pretty good on paper and it tests fairly well online, at the least it's not something my opponent is expecting.

Goblin Offensive makes goblin tokens so it fits with the theme.
I may cut Ancient Ziggurat, but I'm not so sure about Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or Volrath's Stronghold. I'm trying to keep the costs on this deck to a minimum.

I have one too many cards by my count, but I'm at a loss as to what to cut out, any suggestions would be most welcome.
I really hope so, I've got a gold bordered Force of Will I'd like to be able to use.
I run Immolating Souleater in my deck. He can really come in handy.
