Yeah, that is pretty cheap. We get them for around $10 in my area. I would imagine you could order a shipping box of them, in a specific color. If you have a specific games store you buy from, ask the owner to order an extra box of whatever color you want to sell to you.
I've been running T2 Gro for a while now, and 'Goyf is a house. Honestly, one of the best creatures I have ever seen. I'm kinda surprised by the price jump, but hey, I'd pay $20 for them. They are just so good, 100x better than Quirion Dryad.
I'm thinking maybe the now confirmed Razormane Masticore would be a good addition to this deck. Squee interacts well with it's discard ability, and it's reusable creature burn on a huge body.
I voted for Goblin Warchief, since that is the one that I want to come back the most. However, I genuinely think that Reiver Demon will be reprinted, it seems like a good rare for a "beginner" set. It's big, it's got a big ability, and it isn't a very powerful card in constructed (Even though I wish it was.).
I've been testing this deck out on MWS a lot lately, and it has been giving me good results. With only one spell needing resolution, it is definately an easy combo to pull off. Most people try to counter the Kaervec's Spite, but after they check the ruling on additional costs they usually call GG. The deck has a huge amount of surprise factor, and no one I have played has known what I was playing before the end of game 1. The only answers I have really seen are Chain of Vapor and Echoing Truth, but they can be dealt with via Duress, Cabal Therapy, and SB Vigilant Martyr.
I have also begun running Phyrexian Arena instead of Grim Tutor, as it is more viable IRL, I don't have the $300 to spend on 3x Tutor. It has been working very well, and makes a great target should your Academy Rector get blown up before you can go off.
Edit: More testing has revealed that Innocent Blood is not very good. I'm going to replace them with Night's Whisper, since I believe the card advantage will be better. Also, Pact of Negation seems to be a bum card as well, going to test without it. Also, I raised the Barren Glory count to 3.
I played a version of this deck last night and did some online testing. I went with a build similar to the one Daniel posted on page 2. I ended up going 1-3 against NarcoBridge, 2-2 against Izzetron, 7-0 against Rakdos Aggro (Two different decks/players), and 2-1 against B/W aggro. I feel that this deck is very solid, and while it might not always win, it is consistantly good across the board. Post SB it can tango with NarcoBridge far better, and I think that with some more testing the win to loss ratio will be more in our favor.
I also think that Magus of the Vineyard is wrong for this deck. Every game I've played my opponent got nearly as much advantage out of it as I did. I constantly sided them out.
I loves Wizards...I loves them so much. Manlands are very cool and will certainly be very good in Standard when they rotate in. Pickles,Dralnu, and Fish have access to a beater and MGA gets another powerful card. Definitely very cool news.
I started playing it in Dralnu today, and it's been very advantageous. It starts off as 1 card for 2 life, but sometimes it becomes 2 cards for 2 life + 2 mana with Think Twice, and Night's Whisper saw play as a sorcery for that price. And if I really need it, a late game draw can turn it into a beatstick to turn up the clock. Definitely worth most of the hype.
I really like the new stuff from FS, so I'd say yes. The new Duals are nice, the Magi are all nice (IMO), there are a few other cards scattered about that are nice, and there are a lot of commons/uncommons that I would like multiples of. If you have the money and like buying boxes, I'd go for it. I'm considering it myself.
I'd go with Dralnu. In my experience playing it, Dralnu has good matchups against many of the top tier decks, is fairly easy to pilot if you've had some experience with control, and can make some great comebacks. Just yesterday I came back from 1 life to my opponents' 20 and won the game, against mono-black control.
Hey from the last stop before Indiana on I-94. I play in South Bend as well, but really haven't been there in a while. Don't give up on it though, I and another friend should be returning to the T2 arena in the near future!
The new frames are better than the old ones, in my opinion, due to reasons already stated on this thread. I'd bee happy to see them stay around, they're more fresh than the 8th edition frames and way better than the pre-8th frames.
Also, I didn't realize the symbol in the upper left was the card type symbol. I like that, I like that a lot.
On the land art:
The cracks in the land remind me of Serra's Realm, and the stained glass/cathedral feel of the domes makes me lean toward the holy (angels).
Otherwise, I'm really excited about Scry, maybe we'll finally see a Scry other than 2!
If anyone in the area plays, or if you play in South Bend, IN let me know, since I play over at Fantasy Games.

Alright, well, maybe Srcy 1 wouldn't be so cool. But Scry 3 would be totally awesome, an almost Brainstorm on every card!
