A friend and I collectively got four of them, and we pulled 1 foil Ravnica Island and 3 Brion Stoutarm promos. The packs were mediocre pulls though. And strangely a few repeats in rares.
I purchased two 100 sleeve packs of black Dragon Shields from coolstuffinc the other day, and they came in today. The thing that bugs me is that all of the sleeves in both packs has stuff all over the edges that I'm unable to scratch off. I'm assuming that it's just extra plastic that they missing during the cutting of the sleeves, but it's extremely aggravating because of how dominant the "dirt" is in contrast to the black sleeves. For example, if I tried to enter a professional tournament, they would call me out as my sleeves being marked.
I've never had this issue with any of the many Dragon Shields I've purchased in the past, including online with coolstuff. Has anyone else had this problem?
Yeah, as they said, he says other planeswalkers. But let's say he didn't?
If he could legally target himself, you could do that as long as you have more than six loyalty counters. If he's at 6 and you use his -6, he'd go to the graveyard before the ability actually resolved.

The U/W illusions lists aren't thatttt expensive. You have Snapcaster Mage x4, Phantasmal Image x4, and the Moorland Haunts, but besides that everything is a common or uncommon.
But I guess even that is way past budget. I'd definitely look into RDW, depending on how much you would like to spend.
No, you could not cast it. You may only cast the spell if you have a legal target, and the target is the artifact. It would then deal 3 damage to the controller of the artifact.
Wizards will not only own up to their mistakes in the near twenty years of Magic, but is also giving players special foil editions of cards that they have sworn to never reprint again. What cards can we expect to see, you ask?
The Power Nine will all make their way in this set. Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Stoneforge Mystic will make an appearance.
Famous counter magic Force of Will and Mana Drain will be made available. Umezawa's Jitte for reasons that I'll never know.
And finally, Wizard's owns up to their biggest mistake of all... Island!
Yes, even the infamous Island that has haunted all formats of Magic is admitted as a mistake.

I have a more classic take on Solar Flare that is tuned to my local meta very well. At my last FNM I lost only to Dungrove Green (2-1) as I scooped three turns into the first game after a mulligan to five and mana screw.
I have a lot of editing I'd like to do. The mana base has been fairly consistent for me, but I do think that more core set lands and basics are needed, and less Scars of Mirrodin lands.
I want to fit more Dissipate in the mainboard, at least one. I want to try another Phantasmal Image and one less Unburial Rights, as well as an Elesh Norn in the sideboard.
Mental Misstep was a fluke for me, and I never fond myself boarding them in. I will admit that I just threw my sideboard together, so I'm looking for a lot of criticism there. I want more Oblivion Rings too, at least three in my full seventy-five.

You pulled all the money cards, and so many lands. I'm so jealous.
So my friend was playing Splinter Twin at FNM last night, and he showed someone the combo and asked them if they had a response to it. The opponent asked him how the combo worked, and my friend explained to him "basically the exarch comes into play and untaps the splintertwin enchanted exarch, which begins the process again and starts an infinite combo of hastey dudes."
The opponent called a judge because my friend used the word "infinite" explaining to him how it works, and the judge ruled it as a draw for both players.
I don't believe that saying the word "infinite" to describe a combo is against the rules, but the player claims it is and the judge sided with him. Can I get any clarification here? I'm assuming the judge just has no idea what she was talking about.
I played my Venser Control at mine, placing 2nd, losing to Valakut.
I don't have many aligned cards in my deck. 2 Ratchet Bombs, 4 Seachrome Coasts, 2 Revoke Existence, and 1 Venser's Journal. I also had a 2 Wurmcoil Engines, breaking the allignment. But due to no one else having as many aligned cars for Mirrodin as me, I did win the Peace Strider,
Hey guys. I know this isn't so much a decklist as it is a question, but I definitely intend to turn it into one once we can get some discussion going.
I just got my play set of Goblin Guides finished, as well as my play set of Warren Instigators. This made me wonder if it was possible to make a successful mono red Goblins in type two. With the loss of Siege Gang Commander, it looks kinda bland, but with Spikeshot Elder kinda filling in for his big brother, I'm trying to make it work.
Does anyone have any ideas? Would you abuse the artifacts and Kuldotha Rebirth, or go the route of straight Warren Instigator abuse?
This is my version, I tried doing LD but in testing I would lose to the aggro so instead the combo is used to deal with threats, I usually start with
T1:Mountain, Gob Gave
T2:Mountain, staff, equipe, swing
T3:Mountain, Bolt and so-on
Or it would go like
T1:Mountain, Bomb or bottle
T2:Mountain, Coating
T3:Mountain, Vandal or Shatter + (bolt or blast)
I LOVE the Phoenix, late game recursion is a pain to deal with, basically Its built to go without the combo and its fun as heck smashing BSangels and JTMS with 'Grey Orges' and 'Hill Giants', had a great time and got me first place.
(Point of note:Anyone got a better idea for a draw-engine?)
How did you ever win with this... I can't see this ever taking out U/W or Valakut. And Gaveleer? I'm just guessing Goblin Guides aren't budget friendly right now...
