I haven't played in standard in a long time. But when I did, Caw-blade was the deck that literally everyone played in my local meta. It was the same deck with the same first few turns over and over again. That would prove to be the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back till I recently returned, only to play EDH.

If you pay with paypal, then you are covered as a buyer no matter the shipping method. If the cards dont arrive, arrive damaged, or otherwise, its the responsibility of the seller to take care of it. In most cases then $1 shipping method would be fine :).

How does one go about doing that? I recently made a purchse with SZO, using the 99 cent shipping. I've ordered many times and haven't had this issue before, usually the orders come within 4 days maximum, however, its been over a week now and still no order. Don't want to wait forever as I already planned to use the cards last friday.

Less of a reason for me to go to sanctioned play. It was nice to know that I was building up to getting rewards, but now..mehhh. I'm not looking to be super competitive and trying to rank to get into some qualifiers, so this is rather discouraging.

I use a Jack Daniels tin, it works pretty well as I only have a few decks. It's metal, stays closed, and looks good. Gets the job done.

For straight up pre-constructed, heres the list of m11 decks:
    http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/arcana/489

Usually wizards will post the lists near there releases.

A nice list of decks, the popular ones, and ones I've never even heard of. Alot to work with.

  • posted a message on Detecting Foils in Packs: Evidence and Tutorial!
I used to do something like this back when pokemon cards were popular. The foil cards were a little bit sturdier then regular cards. I would take the pack and gently push in dead center and try and pull up the edges. If it felt stiffer then usual thats how I knew I had a foil. I'd say it worked 9 times out of 10 for me.

As for MTG, I'd love to try this, but no place that I've been to that sells magic leaves the packs in the open, they are all behind a counter or in a glass display.
