Is it possible to blood rush an opponent's creature at the end of the combat step, to not take additional damage? The benefit of this is dumping creatures into your own graveyard without having to have an attacking creature yourself.
And if you can do this; what would be the proper way of verbally announcing your intentions?
The Leyline of Sanctity call is entirely meta dependant. If I was expecting to see majority RDW/Goblin/Pyromancer decks, I'd have at least 3 in the main.
Don't forget Valakut... This deck rolls Valakut game 1 with MD leylines.
Leyline of Sanctity has noticeable use against RDW, UB control, and Valakut. I'm listing these due to popularity. Leylines are Blowouts in matches where it's used, and this deck goes through so many cards that excess leylines can be easily tossed at the end step. Also, when leylines aren't used, it's an easy sideboarding call to pull them.
It been great for me, but more testing may prove otherwise.
I already dismantled my list from my 3-1 finish at a monday standard tourney but here are some things I noticed. (Probably not new news, but here it is regardless)
-Blunt the Assault is blah
-Leyline of Sanctity needs to be a 3 of but 4 main deck is excessive. Fourth moved to the side
-I definitely think Bant is the way to go. Baby Jace is money money money.
-Noxious revival is the stone cold nuts, and why i didnt have it in my deck Monday is blasphemous
-Gideon Jura is a great main deck card, acts as a fog, and accents the deck very well.
Tournament report coming this afternoon. I went 3-1 losing to Valakut, a player who come to find out saw what I was playing and added a singleton Kozilek to his board. He had the audacity to return it to the person he borrowed it from after our match. Note that all this was discovered after the tournament had already ended.
The decks I beat were UB control, Valakut and Elves. Losing to Valakut in round 3.
Sidenote, Some dude at SCG Memphis that top 8ed with RDW named his archetype in the interview Charlie Sheen Red... If you look on the previous page of this topic, you will see I named it Charlie Sheen Red before Saturday.
I consider this a personal win, because that coincidence is way too improbable.
So, thoughts on RDW or Charlie Sheen Red as we call it at our local store, after the R/W sword comes out... It seems like it will fold like laundry once that hits the table.
I am playing a variation of this at SCG Indy Open. I'm not too sure on the complete list yet, so I will be posting list and tourney results, regardless of record and place finish here so we have some tested data to work with.
I really think this deck is one of the ones that needs to fine tuned and can be a great potential deck.
No Cyst Bearers? They are top on the green infect dudes you can put out there. I'm just not sure an aggro infect is where it's going to be. I could be wrong though.
I liked the idea because it also got more value out of fetches, tectonic edges as well as horizon canopy. Plus it helps get rid of pesky lands late game.
I really think this card can really do some heavy lifting. As for naya, that is exactly what I was thinking.
And if you can do this; what would be the proper way of verbally announcing your intentions?
Thanks for all the help!

Go CSR Go!
Just wondering on opinions.

My general lack of skill at Magic was trumped by the fact that my pool was nuts, and I squeezed out 5 round wins.

Karn has always been my favorite through the stories.
Im expecting some massive, epic proportion of ownage from card in the last of the 3 sets.
