believe it or not i played with fake goyfs and 2 Liliana of the veil this last PT, on my junk deck.

total price you ask? $4 for a playset of goyfs and lillys costed me like $1.5, extremely hard to spot a difference and i saved money.

so **** wizards for not reprinting more and **** everyone how wants to sell their cards like their selling cars.

let the fakes roll in with open arms

    **** you for cheating.

Anyhoo. I am nt excited about this at all. Draft and sealed is all I want to do. Something special like this costing 3-4 times as a nor.al draft is just not doable. Local drafts are $15. Even with just 8 people. I dont know what awesome place you all get to pay less than msrp for packs at.

No. I don't have time to play. This is just projected needs for the collection of zombies.

Hm. If i do sleeves for the rest of the collection i'll need at least 1500. Wheres the best bulk?

How about stacking 60 perfect fits alone next to 60 hyper mats.

    New question. Oversized cards?

Do the hyper mats fit into nicer ultra pro top loader pages? How about double loading the pages. Or would that be too snug? The rest of my collection is going in topload pages and yeah i am worried about thhem a bit. Because this is going to hold all the foils and will probably be double loaded -front & back.

I don't have any. Nor am I familiar with the brands/design/thickness.

Is there a very good visual comparison available?

For display purposes. I don't like the way it looks for the top/premier/fancyshamncy thing I want to show off. I want each card to have as much time to be viewed and appreciated. 1/9 gives it that chance, 1/18 and you have a lot vying for your attention.

With 18 cards, you go left page top to bottom, right page top to bottom, turn. That is tiresome for the neck and is also silly. You could just go straight across the top rows, then to middle, then bottoms. On top of that, do you start on the backside of a double-loaded page? I have never seen anyone do this. Why double load the page if you don't start double loaded? Analogy-Making every right page even numbered in a book as opposed to odd numbered.

But hey, it is my collection, whether I don't sleeve the cards before paging them or not is up to me, as well as exactly how I put it together. No wrong answer.

    Add-on question!

Which sleeve is the choice for 'paging' cards? In a binder page that is. For clearest viewing without dulling any of the colors?

Of course fitting inside the page slot is also a priority.

Where is the science and independent study to grade them?

Thank you for opening the door on that matter.

I will just link you to Tolarian Community College's playlist on the matter of Binders and Binder Sheets.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5IauASYWjk&list=PLvqw7t0kbGX90Iw7oncJxoMojJo34fbUw

Its very informative from what I watched and it can tell you a lot about binders and binder sheets from different brands. Hes also got a playlist that talks about the different qualities of sleeves from different brands and similarly with deck boxs.

Finally had time to watch it. Eh, didn't go as far in depth as I would like. But it'll do.

I found the sleeve videos to be of most use.

How is that any different than the rest of the products out there also claiming to be acid free, pvc free, super safe and such? If it's just the binder with such worries, then you're maybe freaking out a tad. The card is in a sleeve, inside a page, it should never come into contact with the binder.

Where is the science and independent study to grade them?

A zipped enclosure is nice sure, but again I use one side of a page. Show me a zipped binder that can hold 40 pages.

This is the binder I use.

I wouldn't trust my cards with ultra pro.

    Why?

    And.. 20 integrated 9-pocket-pages

That wouldn't work for me, I need at least 40 pages in the binder for this collection. Not including the repints/foils. I put 9 cards to a page and do not use the backside.

Im planning to use a bcw breakaway standing binder with black ultra pro side loading pages. I dont intend to sleeve the cards, but am curious as to why anyone would.

Cards are organized by first printing. Set by set with them alphabetized within that set.

In a seperate binder in topload pages....
After that is every reprint again set by set by alphabetical.
Finally foil variants again set by set.

Its a display binder and i want to display mah zombeez.

Why not use proxies for the money cards?

Additionally, they can do this online for no cost, so it is better for them to let the people that are interested in such a thing do it in cyberspace.

    BINGO!

MTGO does have a cost but it is miniscule in comparison to the headache that is reprinting old sets.

Yo OP, whats to stop you from buying sealed product that is still available? Cost?

I am frankly shocked at the trade volumes on the site. I personally ship around 15-20 cards a week, usually across roughly 10 envelopes per week. But have you all stopped for a moment and looked at the actual volumes? I am seeing around 20,000 cards per 5 day period. That is huge!

Magic/Dbz/Yugioh/Pokemon are what keeps the USPS in service. Just knowing from my own firsthand experience how much traders/sellers need the cheap shipping options.

Can anyone show me an example of a PWE versus a bubble mailer? I am not exactly finding these at local post store.
