I can't be sure that they used the correct number, but I know my name was on the match slips properly, and have yet to run into anyone with a similar name.I always have my dci card with me when I play.
If you have a BB/WB copy, and you're using a Proxy, I am super cool about that. I use a proxy for a relatively cheap rare, because it's in both of the EDH decks I bring with me, and swapping between the two is troublesome.
And then when I had 4 EDH decks, they shared a lot of staples between them. What I would do is put the original card in an off-color sleeve, white since I used black for decks, and put the proxies in black sleeves in the deck like normal. Then when a proxy was played, I would grab the white sleeve original from a deck box and lay it over. Still have all my cheap proxies.
There are a lot of fun silver border cards, but many of them just break the game when given the opportunity. Cardboard Carapace versus Stocking Tiger
One is legitimately a fair card, the other is super duper broken.
If you're going to use silver border when sitting down with randoms, you better ask first, same goes with Gold border. The rules are Vintage Legal cards. Gold & silver, are not Vintage legal.
Doing some fun math at home to understand just what my entry is doing and what would be worthhile to take as prizes. Along that line, I was curious to know the results would cost a store locally in credit/prizes.
So. If you know the results of some 4 round events you've been in, I'd be happy to know # of players & what their records were.
If you know of an easier way to find out the results of a particular event, please be to educating me.
Recently I met a player coming from hearthstone into magic. He wanted to have social interactions with people, in person. Which is one of the best parts of magic. The other people. MTGO not included, as it seems like no one else is on it with the lack of chatting I experienced.
He picked up the Nicol Bolas PW deck, and we played a few casual games of 60 card stuff, and then some others joined us to play EDH He borrowed a deck. He was going to play standard all the while him and I were chatting, but when I met him again a week later he was doing the EDH thing. No longer interested in the cost of standard, he said. 100-200 on singles for a deck he can keep for years is much better than 200+ for a deck only good for a few months.
This is what happens, and why new players are there, but not playing standard. It costs too mucht o play, and win. Every one is competitive. They just want to be competitive with what they have, whether it is budget or a gimmick deck or even their holdover Spirits tribal deck from Eldritch Moon. When it costs a lot to play, and then lose over and over, you either decide its not worth the investment and find other cheaper formats to play, or you quit overall.
I collect zombie tokens too, but this just means I have less incentive to play FNM. And everyone else has way less incentive to care about standard. Is that what they wanted? To kill standard play?
Is there any info on what tokens will be available int his promotion or if they will be double sided?
Which is kind of just okay in black border to do. Theme and flavor aside of what the card is about of course.
They don't even do their normal job to keep out spam, so yeah, you're right.
It's not gold, it's colorless.
I'll update if I see a change.
A prerelease at another, and the points from the FNM there.
Two stores, with TO that didn't enter it properly?
Is this just more of WOTC inabiltiy to run anything digital or is it single user experience?

That's fantastic. I would forego The Eternalize cards and go straight for Laboratory Maniac with that little comnbo.
