Who is going to be playing with Inspiration in constructed? If your opponent is playing Pain Seer then you are benefiting from the life loss anyways.

It's a good list, but I might take some of your 1-drop count (11 creatures) and add to your 2-drop count (only 7 creatures). Either Daring Skyjek or Spirit of the Labyrinth could go in instead of Dryad Militant.

Actually some pro's such as Brad Nelson believes that Mono-Black Devotion will run the Pain Seer as a 3 of along side 2x Whip of Erebos, and 4x Gray Merchant of Asphodel. And if that is the situation then do not expect much benefit from the loss of life that the Seer will bring along with it.

Wr may be comparable to Wb but it is by no stretch of the imagination better. The decks combat two different metas, Wb is much better vs mono blue and creature based strategies while Wr is marginally better vs. UWx control decks.

Familiar can be better than Militant at times though it makes for less explosive starts and makes the deck more synergy based. Granted, the dryad can be tapped down by Tidebender Mage which is mildly annoying though the added aggression easily makes up for it.

Ill give you credit on the aggression however... Throughout the course of the game you will find that the Familiar actually matches the Militant if not out right beats it in damage dealt mostly due to its evasion. It also triggers the battalion of the Elite and Skyjek easier and without as many risks... The WR base handles the Mono-Blue match up very easily considering the Banisher Priests and the 4x Last Breath's in the sideboard... Even Chris VanMeter has went on record numerous times talking about how he likes the WR version better than the WB... Both are very good the only difference is that the WB is the flavor of the week right now but in the end is only almost as good as the WR.

The WB aggro deck is a very nice deck.. However the WR version is actually better simply due to the fact that it answers Blood Baron better with Mizzium Mortar. And Judges Familiar is actually better than the Dryad Militant. A turn one Familiar can always protect a turn two precinct captain or imposing sovereign

Im playing Mono-White myself... I just placed 2nd in a Standard Daily event on MGTO... 2nd out of 128 players which included numerous pro players such as the 3rd place finisher Paul Reitzl....Ill post my results and deck list below

    Matches -
Round 1 vs BW Mid(Jaca - Pro player from Poland... Winner of the Pauper Championships...and a very very nice player)
Round 2 vs Mono Blue (I find the mono blue match to be easy especially post sideboard, bring in 4x Last breath to have 8 answers for Master of Waves)
Round 3 vs Mono Red aggro ( A very tough matchup, the edge goes to us with Imposing Sovereign)
Round 4 vs Mono Black (Another tough match but if we are hitting our protection shields while they waste their removal we win... Though we must watch out for the Pack Rat still.

    [

4-0 and a 2nd place finish in a 128 player daily shows that this deck can compete with among the best.... The toughest match ups Ive faced with this deck is the three main control decks (RW Burn, UW Control, and Esper)

    Blood Barons.

Besides Thoughtseize, how are we dealing with him? He's heavy in the meta.

Ive been using Thoughtseize and Lifebane Zombies.... two options that are available to us before the Baron can even see play

I'm missing the point of the deck? lol

It is indeed a deck of synergy, but what I was saying is that those cards I presented all offer something that Akroan Hoplite doesn't - either very relevant evasion (which is really how the deck operates, squeezing in damage) or first strike alongside the generation of additional threats. Akroan Hoplite is a beater, yes, but it's also a beater that has no form of evasion on its own and will not be consistently cast on turn two if you're only running the eight red sources.
Furthermore, if you're running Cavalry Pegasus, you do give most of the other creatures flying, but what are you losing? You're spending valuable card slots on that. Would you cut Boros Charm? The entire reason to be red in the first place. Precinct Captain? You lose battalion enablers, and, if you ARE playing Akroan Hoplite, you're losing potential additional power. Daring Skyjek? You're losing 2 power which definitely adds up over the game. Imposing Sovereign? You're putting less power on the board and letting your opponents creatures block the turn they come in, some of which flying wont avoid (playing against mono-blue devotion, for example).

Yup.... You missed the point of the deck obviously

I'm of a like mind. For two drops, I'd rather have any of the three standard two drops than Akroan Hoplite. Imposing Sovereign is a beating in creature based matchups, Precinct Captain is good against mono red and control, and Daring Skyjek is one of the best beaters we have. Akroan Hoplite doesn't generate value on its own or have a relevant form of evasion which makes it even less appealing to me.

I think you are missing the point of the deck... Its a deck of Synergy.. There isnt much that truly generates value on its own in this entire deck.... Not to mention if you want the Akroan Hoplite to have evasion (other than Brave the elements) then why not run it alongside Cavalry Pegasus

The edge in the mirror only lasts until an anthem hits the board, (and even before that, there are a decent number of X/2's in WW) then they are dead cards.

Master of Waves is good because it brings bodies. Using a card to kill half of another card is a little mediocre to me. And as soon as they play a second MoW, the elementals are too big to Electrickery.

I could see it in a different meta, but right now X/1s are either:
    a) infinitely expendable, or
    b) not threatening

I completely disagree.... This is an aggro deck not mid-range... So you are not trying to out last your opponent... Its nothing more than a simple race.. And with that in mind having the ability to sweep the Soldier of Pantheon, Imposing Soverign, Daring Skyjek, Boros Elite, Cavalry Pegasus, Judge's Familiar, Dryad Militant, is by far enough to push us over the top in the mirror match..... And yes I understand about the anthem effect but its a risk that is worth taking.....

I think in the RW (Boros) Versions of the deck that you are truly missing an opportunity if you do not have Electrickery in your SB... It give you the edge in the mirror match as well as matches against Mono-Blue Devotion by ignoring the Master of Waves but Sweeping all of the tokens

    Alright so heres the decklist.

I was not running mutavaults due to lack of access but this did not seem to hinder the performance of the deck and honestly I did not really notice. The Sideboard is still in construction I may remove the Boros Reckoners but we shall see. Anyway heres the match reports from yesterday's FNM

Round 1 (2-1) Monowhite Bravery thune build. Lost dice role

    1) Game one he landed two Fiendslayers and had drawn 3 paths so it was very quick loss for me

    2) Side in reckoners and pacifisms, worked well i did not hit my SB card but i curved nicely from Dryad to Sovereign to Medic eventually landed a spear with dudes and took over with Heliod

3)Banasher Priests galor he banished my skyjeks and a Precinct capt i land a banasher take back my Capt and start dominating the board with fiendslayers and spear

Round 2 (2-0) monoblack devotion. Lost dice role

    1) I kept a 1 land hand with dryad, Soldier, Familiar, Skyjet, Sovereign and brave. He thoughtseized my soldier, i drew into a land and started dealing damage. I drew a spear and a banasher and won

2)he flooded. not much to say about this game

Round 3 (2-0) G/r Ramp. Won Die role

1)Mulled to 6 curved nicely he was setting up his combo with xanathos and Domri I had Medic Familiar and skyjet on the board along with a Heliod and 4 one drops in hand i Drop 4 1 drops T5(After heliod) and top deck Spear ftw

2)Ajani was beastly in this game i opt to play him T4 usually because i want my board to have guys on it and if i need to play an extra 1 drop for protection i can so this game for example I curved out Soldier, Precinct, Paladin t4 droped ajani gave +1 to paladin swung into his rampers and Plainswalkers Main 2 droped a dryad said go Played heliod and gg from there

Round 4 (2-0) R/g Aggro. Won the role

I dont remember much of these two games but im fairly sure i won with Brave and first strikers G1. and G2 im pretty sure i sided in reckoners and just won with spear.

Round 5 (2-0) Monoblack Devo. lost the role

    1) i swarmed the board early he tried to Killspell to fend it off by i was just drawing into creatures and by the time i drew heliod it was over

    2) Pretty sure I won with banasher priest on his demon and continuous frontline medic swinging.

So that was my night sorry that the reports were not in depth i wrote from memory (Great Idea) next time ill keep paper on me and actually write down key points in games.

Its Roll...... But other than that nice deck lol

We are in the midst of an enchantment heavy block... And I was looking at some ways to abuse enchantments while maintaining a competitive deck... This is what I came up with....

I am yet to develop a sideboard.... and could use some help with it..

But the idea of the deck is to hold off my opponent using Anger of the gods, Arrest, Pacifism, and Blind Obedience long enough to drop 1-2 Sphere of Safety and take control of the board state... Only to Finish the game With Purphoros and an Assemble the Legion.... Using 8 cards that can Scry should help with deck consistency

We run pretty much the exact same deck with a few exceptions.... In my version Im -3 Spear of Heliod and +3 Cavalry Pegasus, and I am also -3 Judge's Familiar and +3 Boros Elite.... I like the Pegasus over the Spear because I feel like I have more reach going into the mid to late game... I mean sure the Spear pumps all your guys but against GW or even RG Monsters by that time even with the +1/+1 your army is still dwarfed in comparison... And in those match ups the Cavalry Pegasus almost acts as 3x more copies of Brave the Elements by pushing damage through.....

Cavalry Pegasus gives Mutavault flying, and attacking with all evasion makes activating batallion on Boros Elite much easier rather than having a single dude get blocked out of the three.

The extra two power on a single creature doesn't make up for the entire deck benefiting from the evasion. Having Cavalry Pegasus on the board will force the opponent to spend removal on it, unlike Daring Skyjek, who only needs a more important buddy to get removed to lose his effect.

    my point exactly!!!

I really don't think that Calvary Pegasus is remotely necessary for this deck to do well. Daring Skyjek offers itself the same evasion while also adding two more power to the board. The difference between 3 power and 1 power, as you may have realized, adds up quite a bit. Furthermore, the deck has a lot of evasion inherently built in. You have Soldier of the Pantheon with pro multicolored, Daring Skyjek with flying battalion, Ajani with the -3, and most importantly Brave the Elements, the very card this deck is made to abuse. Because of these other cards, I dislike playing a 1/1 for 2 with an upside that is almost never necessary in my experience. It may have worked out well for you in the past, I'm not a fan.

The Pegasus acts as another Brave the Elements effect by giving all your guys (Including Mutavault) evasion.... You are right it is a 1/1 for two but the upside is always Necessary... As your soldier wont get blocked by those Zealots or those beefed up Experiment Ones from the GW decks.... You can fly over cards such as Loxodon Smiter, Boros Reckoner, and the entire RG Devotion Deck.... When Mono blue drops a Master with huge devotion, Without a Brave the elements in hand chances are you simply get beat..... That is unless you can fly over the elemental token army.... I mean come on its honestly like having 4 more copies of Brave the Elements.....

Most Mono-white decks are being forced to making a choice between the Skyjek and Cavalry Pegasus..... While I think both are requirements.... Cavalry Pegasus more so than the Daring Skyjek.... I think if you could fit both in you are really looking to max on potential....
