Chinese are not worth as much as Japanese, which in turn are cheaper than korean. And then there are Russian, that are even harder to find.
Uncompleted auctions are a bad way to make a point. I can start an eBay auction at whatever price I want but it doesn't mean I am going to get it. Here are some completed auctions for foil foreign Snapcasters:
This came up last night. A player mentioned that they used Vision Charm to avoid damage from Price of Progress. I told the player that I don't think Vision Charm gives lands the basic super type. We looked at Vision Charm's Oracle text and a couple of other forum posts, but he wasn't convinced.
So my question is: does Vision Charm give lands the basic super type?
LOL, I know it's called Tin Fins, but why is it called that? I saw the definition in the OP from thesource, but I just didn't catch it's meaning and you're right, I'll delete that part of my post.
Its from an episode of Sealab 202. In the episode there are advertisements for a fictional restaurant called Grizzlebees during the previews for a movie titled TinFins.
I guess that is more like where the name came from, not why...
One potential method to reprint Reserved List cards:
Sell red bordered RL staples with the name and DCI number of the person who ordered the card printed on the card. In order to play with a red bordered card at a sanctioned tournament the information printed on the card must match the player.
This eliminates any secondary market value of reprinted cards. So collectors and the like are happy.
Also, WotC can make boat loads of cash depending on the price they set.
Sam I Am, for all of those examples you listed, there are reasons you may not want to use the trigger (or finish resolving the spell). There's never a (practical) situation where you would choose to not put a +1/+1 counter on your creature, or to gain a life.
Haven't followed the whole thread but, Ensnaring Bridge is a good reason to not want a +1/+1 counter.
At my LGS at least two players opened foils miscut basics in their guild packs. I traded for the two I saw. Any one else see similar errors? Or have any idea how common they might be?
You do know that there were two Death and Taxes decks in the most recent Legacy GP, right?

Probably the best resource I can think of. That or ask the site owner where to play on twitter @MTGTwin1.

I guess this provides a little more explanation.
Play TinFins, you'll wish you had less fun.
