the rest of the changes look great, although i'd keep the monolith.

lol yea, but he said he wants to take it out just so he could use it for EDH haha.

Isochron Scepter in my opinion, works pretty well with some of the blue and red cards if you get it attached. On the other hand, taking out mindslaver would be a good idea because I see it rarely ever played.

When you need to deal the final points of damage to your opponent, he just gets another turn. And if you need to draw answers against an on board threat, your opponent will just pay the 5 life and also makes you "waste" your turn.
It is only good, if both options hurt your opponent equally - I probably would add one of the 3 mana 4 damage spells (Pulse of the Forge or Flames of the Blood Hand) that don't have this variance.

Pulse of the Forge and Flames of the Blood Hand both deal damage to the dome of your opponent. You basically get a concentrate or a lava axe for three mana, which ever is convenient for your opponent.

And besides, how is card draw any bad for you if you're playing red aggro?

I never have been so disappointed by a another card than Browbeat. It looks like a lose / lose situation for your opponent on paper, but they can figure out easily what mode would be best for you. I mean, you wouldn't add Concentrate to your aggro deck either.

    What do you mean?
It's potential 5 damages (burn, dome shots)
    or
Draws 3 cards (potential creatures or more burn)

so how is that bad? I dont understand it.

great advice, although i wouldn't run browbeat. it's more inconsistent in cube because you don't have multiples and you can't guarantee you'll draw into enough cheap burn to make it work. but pretty much everything else you suggest is solid.

I feel that if you were playing red+white/black/or green aggro, you aren't given much card draws. As you can see, red aggro can empty out their hand pretty quickly. That's when you begin to get into top deck mode, you either top deck into a browbeat (potential 5 damages or 3 cards from your library) or a wheel of fortune. As you can see with blue, hand size is important and being having access to your spells is a big deal. That's my reason for why I run browbeat in my cube.

    Black
Dauthi Marauder/Slayer/ and Horrors: They are great black weenies that get in there really quick for the job. Why not have them?
Mind Shatter: Is it mind twist instead? lol

Blue: It's dirty in any powered cube

    Green: No problem with green

Red: Faster creatures? There's also a lot of artifact hate from what I can see. But maybe that's what Red could use, never thought of it.
Slith Firewalker: 2 red for a 1/1 haste who pumps? I guess it's not as good but I feel that it's a good 2 drop.
Arc Slogger: I think you can play a better creature than that, possibly a Flameblast Dragon, 6 for a 5/5 flying fireblaster?
Demonfire: Also a good finisher because red gets into top deck mode if you're playing fast.
Browbeat: Good both ways in aggro, you can either draw 3 cards or have your opponent take 5 damages.
I also realized how insane it would be to have Sharpshooter equipped with Collar LOL

White: I've played white aggro and I have a couple cards that would help.
Stormfront Pegasus and Mistral Charger: Good flying aggro cards that drop for 2

Other than that, your cubes look good. Those are the things I would personally change. Just giving my opinion. Great cube! Fun drafting Grin

May I ask: Why did you cut the Orb and Gifts? I thought you and your playgroup liked them. And isn't that the whole point of cubing?

You have to understand. Gifts Givens is probably one of the most broken cards I've ever seen lol. Fully powered cubes are nice and all, but when you add a card that could steal 2 your opponents most valuable cards and send the other two to the graveyard at INSTANT SPEED. That's a bit ridiculous, but I'm not here to say take it out. I'm just giving my opinion of what I think of the card. The card is total nuts, and blue is the greatest stupid color in a fully powered cube.

I think with the two card thing, particularly in a small 360 card cube, decks are going to get boring pretty fast. My advice would be to run 2 of some cards, but only 1 of others so that you can fit more interesting cards in there.

I remember playing my cube when it was only 360 cards. Basically the decks started to look pretty familiar after a while. I think you might run into the same problem even earlier on. That's only if you consider it a problem of course.

I do agree, I've never played a full common cube, but from my experience with the common/uncommon cube. But, I believe I see the same pattern. In my personal opinion, you either add a lot more cards or this could get rather uninteresting fast.

Also in my experience, Black/Red seems to be a winner because it's the only color with enough removal and burn. Blue and whites best cards seems to rely on their rares.

First, I don't think that it's that widely accepted. Second, I think it's a completely ridiculous errata that doesn't do what the original card does. It's simply making up new text for the sake of making up new text, and making a super powerful cube card out of thin air.

I was thinking about errata-ing a Cruel Edict to allow me to kick my opponent in the junk when I cast it. That would be "interesting" for the cube, right?

I do agree, You shouldn't word a cube card any differently because then you're just nerfing everything. Why not nerf Jitte because it's too damn crazy, then you're gonna start nerfing other cards that are too insane. The card either makes the cut or it doesn't. Gifts Given is too good, so you might as well not destory the card and just replace it with a better card than errata

Sorry if I use 'nerf' instead of 'errata'

Somehow, some way, Grave Titan should make every cube list. It's far and away the best M11 card, IMO.

Makes a great point. Hits the board for a 6/6 with two extra bodies. That's a total of 10 points of damage going across.

Plus side is when you get across with Grave, you get TWO EXTRA bodies.
    How insane is that?

There are plenty of powerful cards that people will lose to if they're deck isn't prepared. Gifts though can turn the table and get rid of anything in the opponents deck the blue player can't handle. Not only that, if you've splashed in a good amount of colorfixing, chances are they've just increased their hand size +2 with usable cards. For 3U at instant speed it's a brutally powerful effect that has an impact on the entire game (due to the Jesters Cap effect).

I hope that doesn't sound like whining (even though it maybe). I think Gifts Given is a special case of a card that really was never meant to be played being too broken in the context of a lot of other really powerful cards.

Has anyone ever seen a Gifts Given in a cube set?
I agree with Sharky, Gifts Given is possibly one of the most broken cards I've ever seen in cube. You take out four of the best cards in your opponents library and USE THEM against them. I must say it does bring the 'lulz'.

    White
    -Conqueror's Pledge +Decree of Justice
Why? Because Decree can cycle at instant speed and only cost one white to bring out the weenies. You also get a card draw. BTW Conqueror's Pledge can be countered, and Decree can't.
