Hey everyone. My name is Kevin, and I've been playing Magic the Gathering since Stronghold. I first learned from a couple friends who started back in 4th edition. I saw them playing with Serra Angels, Sengir Vampires, The Wretched, and other oldschool cards. I really just liked the art, and eventually wanted to start to learn how to play the game.
We went to a local card shop and I picked up my first pre-con Mindwarper from Stronghold. I also bought a couple packs. My first pack was Wall of Blossoms, Megrim, Flame Wave, and Mox Diamond. Since then I've built all sorts of decks, took them apart, rebuilt them, built decks for friends, took on difficult concept decks from building a deck with no lands, to building 5 decks that worked individually and collectively and didn't run Battle of Wits. There have been only a few sets I didn't care for, but I've been a fanatic of MtG for years.
I am obviously a huge Star Wars fan. Star Wars was my first love, then came MtG. To me, the colors of Magic that emulate the Sith are Grixis colors; :symb:, :symr:, and :symu:.
I look forward to sharing my deck ideas, card/set ideas, and just talk Magic, movies, Star Wars and anything else.
This was a set I started back in 2004. My friend and I sat down and just started messing around with the Magic Set Editor. We chose Rodents because it was funny and beyond Rats there weren't many other rodents in the world of MtG.
So, we started with going through the colors and assigning creature types to each.
At one point the set was over 500 cards and had multi-color cards as well.
I'll be posting the cards after I go over the entire set again and replacing my old keywords such as Celerity with Flash and Venom with Death Touch and Web with Reach and changing cip to etb.

Enchantment
:1mana::symu:: Shuffle a card from your hand into your library. If you do, draw a card.
:1mana::symu:, Sacrifice ~: Shuffle a card from your hand into your library. If you do, draw a card.
I always wanted a permanent like Lat-Nam's Legacy. There are always times when you have a useless card in your hand in a given situation and this gives you the ability to get a random card that could possibly help. I made it cost and act very similar to Compulsion.
Recently a good friend of mine passed away tragicly due to heat stroke. He was like a brother to me. He taught me a lot about the expanded universe of Star Wars, hence my name. I taught him how to play MtG, as well as the storyline behind the game. I built him several decks and we would play at least once a week.
In memory of him, I made my friend into a Planeswalker.
Talos the Defiant :3mana::symb::symr::symg:
Planeswalker - Talos
[+1] Target opponent sacrifices a creature. Put a 2/2 black Zombie token onto the battlefield under your control.
[-3] Talos deals 1 damage to target opponent for each creature you control.
[-8] Exile all cards in each players graveyard. Gain X life and creatures you control get +X/+X until end of turn where X is equal to the number of cards exiled this way.

Here are some cards to consider.
Wasteland
Strip Mine
Dingus Egg
Solfatara
Turf Wound
Pardic Miner
Dwarven Driller
Dwarven Blastminer
Molten Rain
Melt Terrain
Roiling Terrain - probably your best bet for any LD deck.
Wake of Destruction
Ankh of Mishra - to make it hurt if they do play lands.
