I don't know what it is But the last few sets all I see is 'great for limited'. At some point can't they make a set for constructed (that isn't $10 a packet). Cause it's making standard really useless to invest money in boxes or packets. Especially with cards like this that aren't likely to see much outside of limited play.
So sick of the 'have to make bad cards' excuse which players eat.
Hoping to get some feedback i've come up with a deck which is different to what's out there, and hopefully will play well in my local meta.
Essentially it's running off artifacts, burn, small creatures and comboing with Howl of the Horde.
The hope is to be able to hit them for 15 comboing with shrapnel blast or something similar, it also runs a lot of cheap creatures to avoid counters or anything with large power/toughness requirement style removal, overall i don't want it to be a pure creature deck, to avoid falling to removal easily, plus hoping that dig through time can help find the right card at the right time, and because it's aggro/burn i should have plenty of things to dredge. The idea is that a lot of aggro decks for me seem to run out of steam, the hope is that dig through time can get it going again.
I want to replace Satyr Hoplite with something such as the prowess 1/2 for 1.
This is why i don't understand this card. It's like 'hey look at all these great god's' ohh they get destroyed for 1W.. and your opponent see's your hand.. and your deck.. and you lose all copies..' just seems pointless.
I'm very confused by this... they have essentially made decks unable to be build around gods, which seemed to be the point to the gods from what i've seen. Like 2 mana to remove 4 cards from your deck? especially strong ones? seems majorly overpowered. In red black it costs 4 and that doesn't interact with gods in play.
Hopefully they release a similar card except it says planeswalker on it, because those have had a way larger impact on standard and modern then gods have. This seems like a knee jerk reaction to Thassa running things for a few months.
It also gives your opponent the opportunity to look at your entire deck.

It's an artifact (a colourless, completely physical item) and an enchantment (a coloured, completely nonphysical magical essence). Brilliant.
The only thing stupider than coloured artifacts is coloured artifacts with the type "enchantment" thrown on.
Really embarrassing for the design team. Shame on them.

Did anyone notice you gain life just for attacking?
I get that the +1/+1 requires to be over 20, but when you keep gaining life just for attacking, this is a good thing.
I don't think you can immediately think this card sucks, especially at the 3 cost and also there's cards that gain benefit for gaining life in this set.
Additionally, isn't there that black/white card that for life over 30 becomes a monster? i could see this at least as some casual deck fun.
Thanks for posting that Reddening. I am the person who had their stuff ganked. It sucks, but it's just stuff, and nothing beyond material items were lost. I thought I was being vigilant enough with the security of my belongings, but if people want to get your stuff, they'll go to great lengths to do so.
The backpack was under the table and leaning against me, which appeared to be secure enough (from now on the strap is going around my leg though). During the match someone came up behind me and bumped into me, which made me turn around to see what was going on. I assume that was when the stuff was nabbed, especially since a friend of mine who had been watching my match was away watching another friend's game for not more than 10 minutes the entire match. These guys were good, and the police said there were at least 4 people working together to case and nab.
As far as why the contents were so valuable - the stuff in my bag is an average haul for a big tournament - my netbook was with me so I could do work between rounds, and I listen to my music to refocus when I play in big tournaments - this is not an abnormal thing and you'll see that when you look around at other players. Most likely the items in my backpack were quite less expensive than some of the backpacks of the people who were there for Legacy events.
I was fortunately able to recover the netbook from the police, who found it and other nabbed property in a car belonging to a few people arrested at the expo center. There are further investigations pending, and perhaps more property will be recovered (especially since there is allegedly a hotel room used to store the 'haul') that police are searching for. More results might have occurred, but we have Miranda rights, and one of the suspects got a lawyer instead of talking. Several of us have pressed charges, so these guys should be going down in the end.
If you had things stolen and were not contacted by police, I recommend calling Officer Cynthia Burke at the Fairfax County Police Dept. to see if any of your stuff was recovered.
This stuff happens at every major event, and it's our job to be as vigilant as possible to be able to enjoy Magic without allowing crimes of opportunity. If you notice your fellow players' having a vulnerable bag or binder, let them know before something happens, and take any unattended items immediately to the main judging table before someone steals it, so it can be returned.

Personally i was never a net decking player. I would rather win or lose by my own sword then win off of somebody elses work, but that's just me
Red deck wins was a nice throw back lol it's essentially a new version of a deck that was around even when i was playing lol
I'm wondering if i should order a few boxes of M11 and the new Mirrodin set so i start off where everyone else is. Nothing worse then buying in late and ending up with cards you can't use in normal play lol plus 11th ed will stay in a while.
Based on current trends, i'm assuming that the mythics will be decent, the rest will be filler.
