I know that sylvan advocate is a new card, but I'm still surprised that it has yet to catch on with the edh community.
I actually did consider Sylvan Advocate. It would be painful if I encounter an Ætherize or Ætherspouts though.
Wouldn't it be better to use my mana for the Overrun ability, activating it multiple times, instead of having extra creatures?
I'm just thinking out loud here... ^^
I didn't even consider The Great Aurora. It always looked more of a green Warp World to me.
I'll pick up and exploration and G Aurora and see how they fare.
I would love to see your list. Always fun to compare lists.
Marchesa, the Black Rose is brutal. Undying attackers, etb shenanigans, ... a fine tuned build is insanely hard to stop.
She is, she's very cool.. But 3 colors.
I'm trying to build my decks mono or duo colored for this particular playgroup. I believe my decks will be stronger and with less mana issues this way.
I might build her later for another playgroup ^^.
Gaddock Teeg is strong, but imo boring. Since the decks in my new playgroup are still quit centered around creatures, Gaddock won't help that much.
So what are my other options for an aggro deck, besides the generals I listed?
You're saying black-white, but isn't that a color combination mainly used for an attrition war?
Both Ghost Councils are, perhaps I should look at Teysa?
Well I played a 2HG EDH tournament this week-end with my Esper deck.
It didn't come out so well, so I decided to rebuild all my decks, going for mono or duo colored.
Since I'm on a budget it's better for my deckbuilding and plays in general.
I already had a Godo deck, which I haven't tested irl yet, but there is MLD in there. Besides that a control Wydwen deck.
Both decks are fairly centered around winning with the general, so if possible I would stay away from a third deck with that characteristic.
And now I'm searching for something aggro. The two colors I don't have covered yet are white and green.
I'll probably build something graveyard based with Golgari in the future.
But looking for a general that appeals to me, and other people too I'm guessing ^^, is a hard choice.
I wouldn't have guessed that Iroas would've received more love in comparison to Aurelia.
But perhaps it's too early to compare the poll yet.
Anybody has one of these decks, or has seen these decks do something crazy.
Stories are always appreciated ;).
I got 4 generals I like, in Boros or Gruul. I wanna make this an aggressive deck. Most people would go for Xenagos or Omnath, but I like to go for a different choice.
Which one is your favorite and why? Will be for a table of 4/5 people.
Reason that Necromancy is fun is a blue creature called Kederekt Leviathan :cthulhu:.
A great way to dump some creatures in your graveyard is Buried Alive, which is an auto-include in a lot of reanimation strategies.

Oh that's evil!
I'm looking for a little more card draw. A spot for Soul of the Harvest would be nice.
I'm not entirely sure what to cut, what do you think?
I haven't tested the deck enough to form an opinion, but what is your thought on Utopia Sprawl and Wild Growth?
Soul of New Phyrexia is another interesting card, but I consider it more defensive than offensive.
Offensive is the way I wanna go with this deck.

- Pyroblast
- Wild Ricochet?

If you're looking for other effects: No Mercy, Crawlspace should help you out as well.
