Here's a quick and dirty list of some new commons and uncommons in m13, not sure what has and hasn't been spoiled yet, so I'll just list it all by color.
I'll update with pictures of the new stuff as I take them. Work in progress.
Actually, I enjoyed the set very much beyond just Jace.
The manlands are fun and there are other good cards too.
Seer's Sundial.
I'm not sure why, but I see an inordinate amount of these pulled, and they are quite terrible. Friends of mine cracked a wwk box, and they pulled 1 jace, and 3 sundials, but only one of any other rare. I mean, it might just be anecdotal, but I see more of this crap rare from wwk packs than any other single rare, and I watch a lot of packs get cracked.
Now that the set is good and spoiled, does anyone know what that merfolk looking art is on, I tried my best to find it in the player's guide, with no luck.
so is there anyway to get 4 of these sets at retail price? i love anime and like chandra but i know other sets like these rose in price
I doubt it happening easily. As retailer, I can say that I have literally no clue how WOTC distributes their merchandise for their special sets. I have to pull teeth to get anything besides booster boxes. Fat packs are always in incredibly short supply, I never get what I ask for in quantity, and supply for many things just isn't there.
Meanwhile, star city games retails booster boxes for just ten bucks more than what I have to pay wholesale for them, and never has a shortage of anything. Good luck getting any of these high demand products (from the vault, special duel decks) at retail, seems like the big e-tailers have some method of just getting as many as they want to dissect and sell singles out of, or sell for double MSRP, and the regular little brick'n'mortars are left out in the cold.
There are, to my best knowledge, at least 4 different sample decks of each color, and yes, one of the new m11 black ones has vampire nighthawk in it. (as a Zen card)
As I said above, their are two older sample decks, and two newer sample decks. Of the older ones, the two red decks were goblins and elementals, the new ones are goblins and chandra.
But yes, if it is the new m11 sample decks, (with liliana's name on them) one contains new liliana cards, and the other vampires, I posted decklists for those in the "back in black" thread here somewhere.
What these are, are magic sample decks, the last ones they made had tenth edition and lorwyn cards in them, the current run has m10 and zen block cards. What might have happened is that wizards sent that store some of the older sample decks they had lying around, OR that store gave out the old ones they still had, and kept the newer ones for the m11 cards inside. (I know people that would strangle their mother for some of the planeswalker themed cards.)
The way to tell the difference between old and new sample decks is this:
Older sample decks have simpler art on them, and refer to planeswalkers generically. (Red planeswalkers channel their fiery impulses to destroy whatever stands in their way)
Newer sample decks list the name of the planeswalker of that color prominently, and speak about their character. (Chandra Nalaar, A pyromancer who has big problems with authority) followed by a smaller text of the old description.

Yes, they're dead, and that is why we play them, being as close to death as we oldschoolers are.
