I think that keeping the themes mostly to fantasy based characters/games/whatever else would be favorable (at least by me). I know more recently before the contest started losing interest, there was a theme that was Cuthuluu. Or another based on Death; only using MTG art. Maybe doing something with other games as well? Make a sig and avvie combo based on Starcraft with ________ restrictions/guidelines. Just some other stuff to throw out there.
A while back, my friend built a WB Angels & Demons deck; basically a deck that revolves around (you guessed it) Angels and Demons. I really like the idea, and his was for casual standard, so I thought it would be fun to build a casual 60 based around this idea. I've been away from playing for a while, so I'm blanking on a lot of cards. Ideally it would be kind of midrange/do-what-white-and-black-does-best deck; some removal, maybe some life gain/loss, some tutoring maybe, and some cool creatures and synergies. Any help on where to start would be appreciated! Please and thanks.
I would definitely be interested in starting these up again. I always remember them being fun! I just think there should be some sort of theme system...I don't know what it would/could be, but I know a lot of times, the theme of the week was pretty meh and resulted in no entries. Just something to think about.
For the trophies, would the trophy count begin at 0 for everyone, or would wins from previous weekly sig contests carry over?
I recently decided that it was time for a change. I love my 360, but I've had it for so many years, I thought I would give something else a shot...my only problem is what to get.
Obviously Xbox One and PS4 releases are around the corner...before all you "PS4 or nothing" or "Xbox One because it's xbox is better" guys start chiming in, I would like some unbiased/ actually factual info.
I don't know if I want to upgrade because of the whole backwards compatabililty crap...but I don't know if it would be better in the long run...also I originally had a PS2 and played all of those games, so would it be worth getting a PS3 for the compatability, but sacrificing the upgrade? Suggestions would be helpful! Thanks in advance.
Here's what I drew up for you. It may not be quite what you were expecting, but I'm hoping that'll be a good thing. Since Jace is so popular and used so much, I tried to take a different approach with your signature in using the comic art instead of the overused card art and make it him seem contemplative or as if he's reflecting, looking out into the aether (Time Reversal).
I used some lesser-known artwork for the avatar since the mood felt reflective of that in the sig. There's only slight animations - the hair is blowing and his eyes are, of course, glowing. Everyone loves glowing!
That's actually so far off from what I was thinking...I was thinking something MUCH less boring Amazing job, definitely will be back to request more!

Xen, amazing work so far! I would like to put in a quick request if you don't mind. I would like a 450x150 sig banner featuring Jace Beleren. I would like it to be kind of foggy/cloudy/ethereal; kind of black a white with a blue hue to it (similar to your BW "Duality" sig in the OP, but with a bit more blueish hue/glow). If you could put a blue mana symbol and the text "A sound soul dwells within a sound mind" somewhere in there, that would be great! Sorry to get so specific, it's my inner sig maker requesting

Is there an MMORPG similar to the older Runescape? I used to play and love playing that game until it started becomeing more like every other RPG out there. Is there anything in similar style?
