Actually, yes. Aside from the inherent bashing and showing a heavy dislike of Rebecca Guay, there are other artists who do subpar work and get praised for it. The point is, that saying you don't like his art isn't good enough to get rid of him. Rebecca Guay is a horrible artist. I see no reason she wasn't cut ages ago.

This decision is based on what I, a fan of Magic, want. His artwork is subpar in general.

    1) i die to goblins. i added washout to the sb to rectify this but i haven't gotten a chance to test it yet. the washout also works against ww.

Of course, you could try adding red to the deck. Against aggro decks like Goblins, Affinity, and (God forbid should I name this garbage) White *****, spot removal = t3h winz. It also improves match-ups against regular U/G Madness builds, and takes care of problem creatures like Exalted Angel and Meddling Mage. For pre-rotation, try adding about 2 Masticore and 4 Squee, Goblin Nabob. They are insane in Madness in every way possible.

Also, fetchlands thin the deck. Mid-late game, you want to draw creatures or other threats, not lands.

I am really sick of hearing about this story. I don't mean to sound uncompassionate. But what is so special about her? People go missing everyday and the only ones that make the national news are the attractive white girls.

But the part that really gets me going is that this girl is no angel. She is no innocent youth as Elizabeth Smart was. This girl was out at a club at 3-4am, in a different country and obviously she hadn't gone there with a friend or anyone she knew. She hooks up with locals (People from another country she has never met before) and leaves with them in their car!! …HELLO!!!...

I wish the news would stop wasting their time on this story. I know this sounds mean to say. But she wasn't exactly trying to stay out of trouble. (And that is saying it VERY lightly.) And anyone with a lick of sense knows what happened to her. We just don't want to mouth the words.

Agreed. I'm also getting sick of hearing that runaway bride story too. She files a false report of kidnapping, and she makes the national news? I don't know about you, but I don't give two ****s and a ****. The news has degenerated into stories about celebrity love lives and stories like that. What about the other people who go missing? I better get a set of breast implants now, because if I go missing, I want to make the headlines.

Tomorrow in Litchfield, NH, about 3 miles away from me, the WBC, headed by Fred Phelps, is protesting a highschool graduation. Some friends and I are going to participate in the counter-demonstration. At current estimate, about 200 people have signed up to demonstrate with us.

Well, I know I'm not part of the clan, and I hope posting a random comment isn't a problem, but here goes:

Good luck to you guys. While I myself am not gay, I do have a couple friends and know several others who are. The nature of attitudes towards people for their style of living is out of hand, and getting to the point of lunacy. I just wanted to say I support the protest, and if I was in NH, I'd probably be going too. Hope all turns out well. Smile

I've encountered Me before. I don't know if one user uses that name, or if multiple people use it, but I've had the same things. Usually people on MWS are *******s to no end. It IS getting more and more common with the Battle.net generation... Well, that's what I like to call them. It's really sad if you think about it. To paraphrase this attitude, enjoy this comic:

    1. Storm - Arguably the best powerwise. The only thing that keeps it from completely raping you is Stifle, Arcane Laboratory, and Rule of Law.

    2. Cycling - This ability is just stupid. I love it too. Can't be countered, except with Stifle. Stabilizer is really the only card made that would screw up a Slide deck, but that's why cards like Naturalize and Disenchant are printed.

    3. Madness - Card advantage. It's just that simple. You discard for a cost, and get another benefit of getting creatures for cheap.

    4. Flashback - Again, this provided sick card advantage. Call of the Herd is simply one of the best Flashback cards. It gives you a 2 for 1, and with the way the costs curve out, you can keep pressure coming for 2 turns with only 1 card.

    5. Imprint - While the concept of removing an imprinted card from the game isn't appealing at first, the ability to play a card over and over is just disgusting. See Orim's Chant on a stick.

    6. Kicker - I love this. It provides an alternative ability on a card, and doesn't raise the converted mana cost of the card. How is that helpful? A Chalice of the Void with 2 counters doesn't stop an Orim's Chant with a kicker, even though the spell costed 2 mana.

    7. Buyback - While a wonderful ability, it's often more expensive than worth. The only good buyback cards are Forbid (when combined with Squee, dumping Madness cards, or just getting rid of junk for another counter) and Capsize (only good with a ****load of mana, or stuff like Sapphire Medallion, which still didn't help a whole lot.)

    8. Affinity - Why number 8? Without the cheap artifacts like Skullclamp and the artifact lands, this would just be another mediocre ability. The fact that the whole deck was complete synergy made this a powerful ability. After the banning of the artifact lands, Disciple of the Vault, and Arcbound Ravager, you haven't seen this mechanic come up since then.

    9. Morph - The only really good cards with Morph are Exalted Angel, Bane of the Living, and Blistering Firecat. It's ability allows you to get around Ensnaring Bridges, Meddling Mages, and can leave mana open for reactions instead of tapping yourself out stupid. Since Morph doesn't use the stack, it's also a nice surprise to an opponent if isn't painfully obvious what creature you are using. Because it doesn't use the stack, Bane of the Living is disgusting. The downfall is the converted mana cost of 0 while face down.

    10. Fading - You get rediculous cards. Period. Saproling Burst, Tangle Wire, Blastoderm, Parallax Wave, Parallax Tide... The mechanic was good. You lost the card after a few turns, but the card was usually cheap to get out, and it made an impact on the game.

You're right, that's not the way I want to go. Kikis screws up the mana base, and is a 5 drop... I also don't like the card. Wizards butchered it with a stupid name, and the ugly new card face. It was almost a cool card. I think black has more to offer to the deck than red. Often times, Kiki is just over kill. By the time he hits the board, you should already have board control. Not to mention that the deck has to revolve around him, and it forces you to play Aether Vial, which I don't want to use.

I'd prefer Serum Visions. It essentially still digs in the top 3 cards of your library. The only thing is, you just get to choose the order of the top 2 after you draw your card. However, if it's cards you don't need, you can send them to the bottom of your library.

If Hypnotic Specter gets the reprint, it's hitting that 3 mana slot where Call of the Herd is. It may be 3 less "creatures", but the discard is more than worth it. Black offers a good splash of the hand disruption from Mesmeric Fiend, as well as the draw power from Shadowmage Infiltrator. Sideboard options give me Engineered Plague, which kicks ass against Cephalid Cockfest, Life, Squirrel Opposition, and Goblins.

    T3h deck.

    Main deck card choices:

    Birds of Paradise - ...

    Llanowar Elves - ...

Blurred Mongoose - In post rotation, there is a retarded amount of counters and spot removal. About half of the format will be aggro, but a good portion of the other half is control. This is a solid 2-drop creature.

Mesmeric Fiend - Hand disruption. Every deck needs some form of disruption. Not only does he hit the opponent's hand, but Mesmeric Fiend gives me another creature to turn sideways with Opposition, and giving a "2 for 1" advantage if the opponent uses removal to get their card back. It's protection for my creatures in a sense, and also slows the opponent down, while giving me a heads up of what deck I'm facing.

Shadowmage Infiltrator - Simply the best "when this guy deals damage, draw a card" creature. Shadowmage Infiltrator > Thieving Magpie and Ninja of the Deep Anal

Call of the Herd - Gives me 2 creatures in 1 card. When I have lands for days, I can still cast a creature. Something good to cast after a Wrath of God, Akroma's Vengeance, Starstorm, Earthquake, Pyroclasm, etc.

Mystic Snake - This deck could definitely use counters. Nothing says it better than Grizzly Bears saying "No *****!"

Opposition - I'm still trying to figure out why I'm playing this card in an Opposition deck...

Static Orb - While it's fun to keep turning your creatures sideways every turn, it gets annoying for you when the opponent gets more permanents than you have creatures. Static Orb keeps them tapped down so you can attack with your stuff. Not running Static Orb in an Opposition deck is like not running Isochron Scepter in a Scepter Control deck.

Fact or Fiction - Simply the best draw card in Extended.

    Sideboard card choices:

Naturalize - Scepters, Affinity, and everything else you can imagine. Most decks run some kind of artifact. If it's a key card or just a pain in the ass, then stick this in.

Engineered Plague - Deals with the Disciple of the Vault problem in Affinity. I'm getting sick of having them in the Opposition/Static Orb lock, they top deck a Disciple, Vial it out, and just sack **** to kill me. Also deals with those stupid Cephalid Cockfest and Life decks. It makes the match-up against Elves (Why anyone would try them competitively is beyond me. Sometimes they ARE a pain in the ass though), Goblins, and Squirrel Opposition.

Spellbane Centaur - Tech against x/U control that relies on bounce to deal with threats. Also good against an Opposition mirror, and U/G Madness.

Stifle - Scepters and Fetchlands for days. Kills Decree of Justice in Wake too if they get that much mana out.

I've also found that the Chalice and Damping Matrix is doomsday against some decks with no mainboard bounce but my Tog the stubborn bastard wished for stuff and took care of it. It has also held it own against G-A-T, Madness, The Rock, Goblins, Affinity, and Slide. Defeating G-A-T, Madness, and the Rock 2-0; and Goblins, Affinity, and Slide 2/3 best two out of three.

    I don't believe that.

    Spells:

The fact that you aren't running 4 Gerrard's Verdict maindeck is beyond me. It's easily the best discard spell right next to Duress, and is strictly better than Mesmeric Fiend. What about Cabal Therapy? Putting it in the sideboard isn't going to help. What would you board it in against specifically? You'll be using it every time you sideboard. Cranial Extraction is a sideboard card at best. It's horrible against aggro, which is mainly what Extended is going to be post rotation. When will you need a Cranial Extraction against Madness, Fires, Affinity, or Goblins? It's better suited against combo or control to permanently remove their win conditions. Eradicate is too slow. 4 Chainer's Edict, 4 Vindicate, and 4 Wrath of God is more than enough. If you need more against aggro, use Solitary Confinement. How do you keep it out? Eternal Dragon and Phyrexian Arena. I run both in my deck. Phrexian Arena is better card advantage than Skeletal Scrying in the long run. Lose the Tutors too. Too slow. Tsabo's Web is pointles... Oh, and get rid of Haunting Echoes too. It MIGHT be useful once, but that's it. At 5 mana, you could be casting something more useful, like Chimney Imp. Damping Matrix doesn't belong main deck, and Pulse of the Fields contradicts Exalted Angel.

    Creatures:
    4 EXALTED ANGEL
!! She simply dominates the game when she hits the board. Seeing you playing only 3 makes baby Jesus cry. You shouldn't be using Mesmeric Fiend. It's a good card, but not in this deck. You cast Wrath of God, and the opponent just "draws" a card. It's like Skullclamp. You want permanent discard. If Hypnotic Specter DOES see the reprint in 9th, then by all means. However, you could use more powerful win conditions. Eternal Dragon is good against control decks, and aggro alike. If you have mana for days, you can keep blocking and not worrying about him dying. Eternal Dragon also serves as an early game mana fixer. Desolation Angel is also a winner in this deck. When she resolves, it's time for the opponent to scoop. It's best against control and combo. She even works against aggro decks, just make sure you cast Wrath of God before you cast Desolation Angel. Also, Razormane Masticore just sucks. It isn't worth the toilet paper it's printed on.

    Lands:
Why Tainted Field? Your Swamp and Plains count is almost identical. Which means t3h suck for you. Tainted Field is best when you're just SPLASHING white, not using it heavily. Also, you should consider getting a few Temple of the False God in there.

This is what I'm currently running:
