Fangs for Hire2BB
Creature - Vampire Warrior (R)
Whenever ~ is dealt damage, you may pay 3 life to prevent that damage.
Whenever you lose life, you may put a +1/+1 counter on ~. "The contract is simple: I serve, you get served."
3/3
Good flavor and idea. It is a little undercosted, i suppose, because it can grow very fast and it is very good in blocking big creatures (10/10 can deal only 3 damage to you, for example). 5 mana would be better (or making it legendary). And some templating issues - first ability is replacing but not triggered (you can't prevent damage that was already dealt). It should be someting like "If ~ would be dealt damage, you may pay 3 life. If you do prevent that damage." 7/10
Residual Field2UU
Creature - Wall
Flying, Defender
When Residual Field enters the battlefield, exile the top seven cards of your library.
Whenever Residual Field is dealt damage, you may put up to X cards that were exiled by it into your hand where X is the amount of damage dealt to Residual Field.
0/7
I like idea very much but it is very undercosted. In a game against white or red aggro for example, it just means "Draw 7 additional cards in the next 2-4 turns". Compare it with very strong Wall of reverence for example. 6/10
Lotus Martyr - GG
Creature - Elf Druid
Whenever Lotus Martyr is dealt damage, add that much mana in any combination of colors to your mana pool. This mana doesn't empty from your mana pool until the beginning of your next end step. They drew all of their strength from the Lotus, and when there was only a single one left, they died for it.
1/1
I can see a brutal combo with Shivan meteor here. Everything is OK. 9/10
Charlie Brown2UB
Creature - Human Blockhead
Islandwalk
Whenever Charlie Brown deals combat damage, you lose that much life. UB: Draw a card. If you lost life this turn, draw an additional card. Use this ability only once per turn.
4/4 I've developed a new philosophy . . . I only dread one day at a time.
-Charlie Brown
2 main faults of your card: it's unhinged (unexisting creature type), it does not follow the challenge (dealt to creature). And it's overpowered (you may draw 1 card during your turn and ~2 cards during an opponent's turn). 3/10
Unstoppable Force2GGG
Creature- Elemental {R}
Trample
Whenever Unstoppable Force is dealt damage, it gets +3/+3 until end of turn. You wouldn't like it when it's angry.
5/5
White Flame1WR
Creature - Elemental {U}
Whenever ~ is dealt damage, ~ deals that much damage to target player. You gain that much life.
Whenever ~ is goes to the graveyard from the battlefield, ~ deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
3/1
Aaah. Shivan meteor is dreaming about this card. Spitemare and Lightning bolt combined in 3-mana 3/1 creature. It's too much for my weak heart. It should have some balancing work. Also templating of the last ability needs a fix. 6/10
Spoiled ChildWB
Creature - Human (U)
Provoke
Whenever damage would be dealt to Spoiled Child, that damage is dealt to you instead.
2/1
I think I get its flavor. Very interesting card. For life it can kill opponent's weak creatures each turn as long as he hasn't much creatures. Otherwise opponent can block it with all his powers to kill you. Templating should be fixed ("If" instead of "Whenever").
7/10
Bolek, Leader of the MeekWW
Legendary Creature - Human Rebel
First strike
Other creatures with converted mana cost 2 or less you control get +1/+1.
2/2 "Army of peasants? What army of peasants?!" -- Brenton, tyrant of Remland
"Aaah! A new world! A big exciting place for exploring and exploding. I should take my best experimental goblin there! Come on, Brom! Get out from that boiling vat!"
Brom, the Lucky OneUR
Legendary Creature - Goblin
If Brom, the Lucky One would be destroyed, return it to its owner's hand instead.
2/1 Brom was a subject for 479 experiments. As it was calculated his chance to stay alive was equal to 0.0571%.
(EDIT: Oops, sorry. I've forgotten about my placeholder. )
Vedalken Hellscaper2UB
Creature — Vedalken Wizard {U}
Intimidate
When you cast Vedalken Hellscaper, exile cards from the top of your graveyard until you exile a nonland card with converted mana cost three or less. You may cast that card without paying its mana cost. If its an instant or sorcery card, exile it as it resolves instead of putting it into your graveyard.
3/2
Ha, finally, a card which cares about an order of cards in grave. I suppose Wizards will never print any such card (except Fossil Find ) because 95% of players don't care about that order. But anyway your "gravecascade" is very fun. It much less randomized, because you always know you grave cards. And you can cast a spell right before Vedalken to "replicate" it. But it lacks the combo-effects of Bloodbraided Elf. Eviltwinness is OK.
Easy Mark2BBB
Enchantment
Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets a creature, choose a creature you control. Additional copies of that spell on the stack target the chosen creature. If that spell targets multiple creatures, that spell now targets only the chosen creature. "Just a small sacrifice."
It's a twin only in ability sense. Sadly, it's even not a creature. And ability is not very clear too. What if there is no any additional copies? Or is this effect supposed to change a target of an original spell too? If not, what is the meaning of the last sentence? Idea is good, but too many questions.
Ungrowth2UU
Sorcery
Target opponent names a nonland card. Then, that player puts cards from the top of his or her library into his or her graveyard until the named card is put into that graveyard this way.
Interesting mill spell, which I suppose mills averagely 1/4 of a deck (somebody good at probability theory may calculate it more precisely), supposing there is a set of some card in an opponent's deck and he do not know his top deck. But for 1 additional mana you get Traumatize, so you card is underpowered. It may be better for 2U, I suppose. And I don't get a twin flavour of this card, sorry. Why Ungrowth? Not very eviltwinny.
(Whoops on last round's entry, yeah Poisonous that upgraded itself would be interesting... Do'h!)
Affliction Runner1
Creature - Merfolk Rogue (C)
When ~ enters the battlefield, choose a counter on target permanent. Put another of those counters on it.
2/1 Merfolk rogues seek to cause the illness with an toxic concoction known as the smotheringdusk, reserving these for only the ones that they spite above all else.
@ Meddigo: yeesh an evil twin was the last thing BBE needed lol.
And my entry;
Demon of Cruelty4B
Creature - Demon
Flying, trample
When ~ enters the battlefield you loose three life.
5/5 Every drop of blood spilt is a taste of damnation
Good as evil twin, but overpowered as card. Big Bad Black Flyers usually use some sacrificing drawbacks and have a bigger cost at the same time (see Archdemon of Unx, Devouring Strossus, Lord of the Pit, Xathrid Demon). 3 life is very small drawback for this one. Quod licet Baneslayer Angel, non licet Black creatures.:)
Abyssal Persecutor
Rapturous Sustainer3WWW
Creature - Angel [M]
Flying
Damage that would reduce your life total to less than 1 reduces it to 1 instead. 1: The next time you would draw a card this turn, you gain 5 life instead. Her followers pray for her blessing and mercy. She deprives them of neither.
4/5
Good as good twin.:) And I like flavour. But it's not very original as card because its effect is not very different from Platinum Angel's one (It doesn't allow you to play pacts without paying and you can lose from Battle of Wits, but who cares?).
Moor Fiend3UU
Creature - Shapeshifter UU: Tap target creature without flying. UU: Target creature loses flying until end of turn. UU: The creature of your choice loses shroud until end of turn. 2: Target creature gets +1/-1 or -1/+1 until end of turn.
3/3
It can kill creatures easily with it's last ability, so it's not very blue. Feels like UB. And it shouldn't be a shapeshifter like it's twin as it hasn't any shapeshifting abilities. Anyway it is very strong control card as it can tap and kill as much creatures as much mana you have. I think some balancing work should be done.
Etherium Nacatl
Artifact Creature- Cat
As long as you control a plains, Etherium Nacatl has first strike.
As long as you control a swamp, Etherium Nacatl has deathtouch.
1/1
I like flavor and eviltwinnes of your card. So, as long as we have plains and swamp, this kitty is almost an ultimate blocker for one mana. I suppose that 1/1 deathtouch first strike is stronger than simple 3/3 as it can kill a lot of big guys. E.g. Pestilent Kathari costs 3 mana and must pay additional 3 mana to get first strike.
Niagol the Furious2UUBBRR
Legendary Creature - Elder Dragon (M)
Trample XU: Draw X cards, the discard X cards. XB: Put target creature with converted mana cost X in a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. XR: Niagol deals X damage to target creature.
9/9
His elder twin Nicol Bolas tore off Niagols wings, but Niagol compensates his loss of flying with being stronger.
It's literally a twin and it's literally evil. Ultimate killer for 8 mana with simple ultimate abilities. Good, but not very original.
VitapotenceWWW
Enchantment {R}
At the beginning of your draw step, you gain 1 life.
Whenever you gain life, exile the top card of your library.
Exile the top card of your library: You gain 1 life.
Combination of two last abilities is confusing - the third one is always followed by the second. Necropotence has some unusual card "drawing" engine, here we can see only simple "mill to life" exchange. Also this card allows you to live long until you're milled exchanging two cards for 1 life. Hm... I think it's too strong for 3 mana.
Master Igniter 4R
Creature - Human Shaman (R) T: The next time a creature or player would be dealt damage this turn, it or he is dealt that much damage plus 4 instead.
In front of his eyes is the pain of every soldier his hands have scorched.
There is some uncertainty. But may be it can be resolved somehow in comprehensive rules. What if two creatures are dealt damage at the same time? Are they both dealt increased damage or only a chosen one? But I like this card very much, it only needs to have more clear text. Flavor and eviltwinness are perfect.
Thanks! Next challenge - design a creature which has some flavourful effects based on damage dealt to it. As example: Stuffy Doll, Spitemare, Swans of Brynn Argoll etc.
Rage PrivilegeRR
Enchantment
Nonred spells can't deal damage. t: If target red spell would deal damage to a creature or player this turn, it deals that much damage plus 1 to that creature or player instead.
Lamp3
Artifact
When Lamp enters the battlefield search your library for a Djinn creature card, reveal and exile it. Then shuffle your library. t: Put a creature exiled with Lamp onto the battlefield. It gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step.
Thanks, ImpulsiveKnowledge. Next challenge. Create an evil twin (or a good one if you wish) of any existing card. Good examples are Mirri, Crovax etc. But you may choose a non-legendary or non-creature card.
Trivaz, Labs Head2UR
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard (R) 1R,t: Trivaz, Labs Head deals 2 damage to target creature and 1 damage to itself. 1U,q: Draw a card. Trivaz, Labs Head deals 1 damage to itself.
2/3 His experiments were a strange mix of fantastically precise calculation and absolutely senseless destruction.
Tribe is Izzet Wizards from Ravnica, of course. New system.
Chain of Lights1WW
Enchantment Creature - Spirit (R)
Flying
When Chain of Lights enters the battlefield you may pay W. If you do, search your library for an enchantment card with converted mana cost 3 or less and put it onto the battlefield.
1/1 "They grew in numbers with every minute immersing me in shining gentle light. Suddenly I felt something strange..."

Simple and good in everything. 9/10
Aaah. Shivan meteor is dreaming about this card. Spitemare and Lightning bolt combined in 3-mana 3/1 creature. It's too much for my weak heart. It should have some balancing work. Also templating of the last ability needs a fix. 6/10

Sorry for my English, guys.

Real evil twin in every sense. I like it very much. There should be some combo with some counters in Dark Depth style I suppose.
