Zendikar and Alara have a lot of great EDH cards too. Newer blocks usually give us the most in terms of creatures and generals, while the older ones provide the best utility cards.
40 out of 79 cards in my EDH deck are from Lorwyn on. Including such gems as Terestodon, Woodfall Primus, Avenger of Zendikar, Oracle of Mul Daya, and my general Omnath.
I voted for two. Jace and perfectly content. I know that doesn't make sense
The reason I did this is that I am mildly irritated that I, for all intents and purposes, cannot play blue because I cannot afford Jace. But I don't really like blue that much anyway so *shrug*
Besides that relatively minor complaint, I am happy with magic how it is now.
In other news last week I took my build to FNM. Went 3-1 and took 5th. I will post the match by match break down later (I am visiting family and left my notes at home) but Clasp and Garruk won me 2 matches and Autumn's Veil gave me my only lose (drawing 3 and only 2 creatures is bad). I am going to continue to advocate that little artifact. The look on people's faces when I kill off their pivital card is priceless. It has killed Cobras, all three elf lords, Vamp lord, and many other annoyances. Killing off these threats typically slows down the opponent more than it does me by playing it. And this is all ignoring all the tricks proliferate brings to the table.
Would you mind posting your list again or linking me to it. I was considering trying it out.
*shrugs* I don't mind her. I run her myself actually. The thing is, a bunch of decks my playgroup have run her. It doesn't mean they auto won, or won at all at that.
Then went to B
And now I've settled into G excluding the odd experimentation.
I have a question. On a scale of one to ten, how pimp is a Korean Sylvan Library?
Oh yes.
Of course.

Well actually there are 8 artifacts and 4 Trinket Mages. Plus in the end they can still be Cancels.
Ideally the list would have 4 JtMS, but that's not going to happen. Looking at it again I would probably include 4 Preordains.
Ok, here's the list.
9 Island
9 Mountain
4 Scalding Tarn
2 Terramorphic Expanse
Creatures
2 Cunning Sparkmage
1 Frost Titan
3 Inferno Titan
4 Trinket Mage
Non Creature Spells
2 Basilisk Collar
4 Burst Lightning
2 Brittle Effigy
2 Chandra Nalaar
1 Chimeric Mass
3 Everflowing Chalice
2 Jace Beleren
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Mana Leak
2 Stoic Rebuttal
1 Brittle Effigy
2 Cunning Sparkmage
1 Elixir of Immortality
2 Frost Titan
2 Island
4 Pyroclasm
2 Volition Reins
1 Wurmcoil Engine
It's a rough list, I haven't been able to test it, but the idea seems sound.

It's interesting. I definitely like how it can make Garruk even more deadly.
Overall, how happy are you with Beastmaster Ascension?
I think I'd have to edit the list a bit, mostly just personal preference and budget.
I have my Standard Mono-Green Aggro (which is actually missing a few cards now) and my EDH Omnath list.
In the future I plan to make 2 more EDH decks, Expirement Kraj and Sliver Overlord, but there's where the budget comes in.

That is wrong in so many ways. All the titans are useful for different reasons. Inferno and Sun Titan just don't have a deck to support them.
On that note, this...
