I checked in Firefox and Chrome, and I see this in both. If you're not seeing it, it may be restricted to my machine.

The only way that I can see the "choose creature or removal" philosophy will work right now is in limited and post-M15 Standard. Eternal formats like Vintage, Legacy, and Modern are stuck in a rut, because their total card pool includes cheap removal.
I think the best way to realize your vision (and Wizards) is to create a new eternal format and re-baseline it at M15/Theros going forward (or M15/RTR). That way, most cheap removal is gone, and there is design space for better Auras (your desire) and more balanced removal (Wizards's desire). However, that could result in a customer revolt from long-time Modern players. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
Battlebond was 36 packs per box. We're getting 24 for Commander Legends. I think 24-pack booster boxes for supplemental sets is becoming the norm.
You should have bought singles, because unless you wanted full art foil versions of Jace and Force of Will, you might have spent less than $600.
Sorry to hear that you lost the lottery.
Has this ever happened before with a Magic card art? Reusing the art on a different card is a bad idea, unless they have no intention of printing Lord of Extinction's Amonkhet version in paper.
Players: We want these reprinted.
Wizards: They will be released in an expensive supplemental product.
I'm sure Wizards would consider them for a Secret Lair or some other expensive supplemental product.
From past leaks, the common scenarios seem to be
1) Somebody got access to one of the manufacturer's printers and was able to take a photo of a sheet or steal a sheet.
2) Product for expansions are printed in advance, so they can be shipped to retailers in time for the release date. Somebody with access to a warehouse or distribution center in the pipeline would end up finding a booster.
3) The rare printing error where a card from a future expansion is put into one with an impending release. This might happen if they put the wrong template on the printer, and a few sheets might be run and put into boosters before the technicians catch the problem.
And, there is also that big "god book" scandal 2 years ago, where somebody within WotC disseminated a spreadsheet with the cards of an expansion. That was card information exposed to the public.
Foil would probably be the powered-down version of FoW that would be allowed for Modern or a new alternative would be created. Force of Will in Modern would just increase the number of blue-based decks. Having blue represented even more is not helping with deck diversity.
As an Modern Enchantress player, I don't think Wild Growth is a big priority as the deck still has Utopia Sprawl. For Modern Enchantress to take off as a contender deck, it needs cards from the Legacy version.
These cards are not on the reserved list, but they would boost Modern Enchantress decks if they become Modern-legal.

As someone else already mentioned, the reasons are reprint equity and EV. Officially, WotC's stance is that they do not recognize the secondary market, but I'm sure that they think that if they reprint too many good cards at once at Standard print levels, they will have trouble selling future sets. They keep doing this with all non-standard sets. They have not released a set where every single rare is not considered a junk rare. Ultimate Masters came the closest so far, but they priced the boosters very high.
Somebody at WotC simply doesn't want to try to emulate the business models of Pokemon or YuGiOh, where reprints are plentiful.
Some people like Rebecca Guay's artwork, but Wizard's isn't commissioning her for regular art sets. I find Seb's artwork similar to Rebecca's in that it's not realistic, which is what I thought Wizard's creative direction has been.
I'd rather this Penny Masters set just be a fixed set of useful cards like a Deckbuilder's Toolkit than more packs.
Should this card even be a rare? The 3 life gain for one extra mana is not relevant in most games. I can understand Disallow being a rare, but Absorb probably should be uncommon. I guess having Absorb show more often in uncommon would making drafts more lopsided.
