Which is why I replaced survivalist in my list with one cleric and 3 druids. T1 shrine, T2 druid, T3 Blademaster + 2 drop T4 BBE + Evangel is just silly. If you untap with a druid on t3 The game will undoubtedly get very rough for the opposing player, unless they have DoJ at the ready
Indeed, though I'd rather have a T1 Hada Freeblade. As my list says, I don't believe the deck needs Jungle Shrine, Manlands, or anything else that comes into play tapped. It only serves to slow down the intensity that makes this deck so lethal. Though I'm sure others have found it to work, I prefer to speed along as fast as I can.
At Gameday I was playing Naya Allies against Jund.
I was stuck at two land the entire game and had a Harabaz Druid in play with 4 other allies enabling me to drop 2 allies per turn. He destroyed several allies but never the one that allowed me to continue getting ally triggers and win the game. As soon as I won his friend hit him and asked why he didn't kill the obvious target after several turns of me having it out. His reply was he had never played against an ally deck before and didn't know what do to.
@TravisWK: I can`t believe that you went 9-0 with 21 lands! You have 3 Harabaz Druid, but...wow!
Yeah, I actually wasn't going to play, but was talked into it when I got to the store. I threw in 7 cards and went for it. Turned out really well.
Harabaz Druid turned out to be an all star. Even tapping it for 1 mana made a huge difference. At times I wish I had a 4th copy and wasn't really ever disappointed cascading into it. One match I even swung for lethal because I had two Harabaz Druids getting +1/+0 from Battlesinger.
Went 9-0 overall in Gameday last night.
Beat 3 Jund decks, a B/R aggro deck, and 2 Mythic Conscription decks pre-finals then Shroud Conscription and Mono White Emeria in top 8.
True, just saying that even though they're 0/1s they have more use than just tapping for mana.
