WCT is for shooting the **** about everything from personal issues to odd-ball articles to major events local and national impacting your life. It's a place for people to make jokes and get into charged arguments that are not like the more structured debates and don't need to withstand any sort of rigor. It's where you express how you feel about **** that's going on around you, and it's supposed to be able to handle the most controversial topics being handled lightly by people and the most inane topics being treated dead serious.

I think there is a disconnect between the new mods and some of the posters who are now having to think twice before posting because things have been tightened up and the new line (being new) is not well defined by the mods and not very respected by people that have been around a bit that are expecting definitions.

It doesn't help that some controversial subjects have become more... personal to some. I don't want to say this in an attacking manner, but there is a lower tolerance on what is and isn't PC to say without moderator interaction.

That's some nice political double speak right there. The GM plant closed down on December 23rd, 2008 (when George W. Bush was still in office), yet didn't stop production until April 23rd, 2009 (when Barack Obama was in office and had passed his bailouts). So despite the fact that the plant was "closed," people were still working there and making trucks.
Double speak? You do understand the concept of a contract, right? If a company shuts down a plant they have to wait until all orders are filled and orders completed before they can fully close down.

Having lived in Detroit, Flint, and worked for w few years in the auto industry I know what it looks like when a plant is closed. I worked in a plant in Flint that was shut down.

    EDIT

Attached is the street view of the Delphi plant in Flint I used to work at - now uncleared rubble years later.

BUT YOU WERE WRONG! AND WE ALL KNEW YOU WERE WRONG!

All you had to do was roll over and die and the game we would have had a better chance to win (6 -> 5 (lynch)-> 4 (NK)) giving the town one more chance to lynch before jd got his last kill. Instead you brought the game from a bad situation to worse AGAIN with your terrible play. You refused to acknowledge anything we could prove in game in order to push your own anti-town agenda to promote your own survival. You played horribly scummy. Horribly. And you guaranteed the town's loss with your continued spam ALL GAME.

You will never be able to justify your play with any sort of logic in this game, and I don't understand how you were no infracted for your endless spam. You deserved it.

As for your actions, I think you continue to show a disregard for the rules of the game and forum in your play. In Ketteh Trek you were modkilled for PM quoting when you knew better. In this game you spammed all game (the worst being at the end). You're impulsive, insulting, and generally just negative to everything and everyone in your "playstyle". I was too extreme saying you deserve a blacklisting - but you should be placed on probation and I would recommend mods to think critically before letting you play in a game. At least until you can get your head on straight.
I'm bringing this to the council, because I think DRey should be put on probation, and I think it may be the strongest case I have seen in a long time. He is flaming, spamming, and pushing the rules of the forum and the individual games he is in. He's never not blown up in some fashion in every game I have seen him in.

Step 1 play less games at once
Step 2 memorize every possible fact in a single game. Be able to reference anything by memory.
Step 3 win or lose review the information most critical to catching scum. Even if you missed it during the game you can spot it endgame.
Step 4 get good enough to not miss it the first time.

    EDIT

Step 5 learn how to pull the information you need from people.
Step 6 learn how to fake it.

I suggest spending time in basics and learn how to spot town through mistakes. ZDS is great at it and can us it to pin down scum through PoE or push mislynches as scum while looking honest. I think his method works really well.

zombie bears (skill rune for zombie charger) and vision quest (passive that was completely changed).

You can get four things on cool down and spam the bears when you have the massive mana regeneration from vision quest.

A small but potentially important nitpick: you could not survive by eating just butter. Dairy products don't contain molybdenum, which is an essential micronutrient. Without it you'll eventually lapse into a coma. In many ways, this actually supports your point that nutrition is about more than just calories, which is certainly true.
    OK, butter and top soil.

Entitlement is not a design flaw, it's a player flaw. Expect nothing is the better rule to follow in complicated games.
