My favorite magic card is the inspiration for my handle elsewhere: Weatherseed Treefolk.
Starting out, I loved summoning green creatures, and this treefolk was awesome. He was an ent, basically, and he had trample so that he could make sure he could get through. And most importantly, he survived Terror and creature combat. He killed Craw Wurms and even dealt a point of damage past them, and he came back to fight another day! It was great because it was a creature that taught me about combat, card advantage, and smashing face with tree-hands.
Weatherseed Treefolk #1
I will say that Oath generally smoothed things out and was pretty nice for getting rid of some dead draws and getting what you need. I wish that it grabbed enchantments as well, but I've found that putting the cards you don't pick on the bottom of the library is generally an upside.
For the SB, I would slant it heavily towards beating combo as I think that's the primary weakness here (without having gone to a proper tournament lately):
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Tarmogoyf
3 Dark Confidant
1 Scavenging Ooze
3 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Oath of Nissa
1 Sylvan Library
2 Punishing Fire
2 Lightning Bolt
3 Abrupt Decay
3 Liliana of the Veil
1 Domri Rade
3 Thoughtseize
1 Inquisition of Kozilek
2 Hymn to Tourach
1 Maelstrom Pulse
1 Life from the Loam
4 Verdant Catacombs
3 Wasteland
3 Grove of the Burnwillows
2 Bayou
2 Badlands
1 Forest
2 Swamp
2 Wooded Foothills
2 Bloodstained Mire
This is the first theory article I have ever posted and I wanted to get y'all opinion on it and put it out there for the community. Hopefully some theory crafting that I and my good friend have done will help someone get out there and crush. Please leave any comments here or on the wordpress site. Sorry about it being a work in progress, but I wanted to get it out there before the week started to give people time to think about the idea.
Thanks for the time!

ntDars, I am playing Mnemonic Wall and Archaeomancer currently so it will be good to support the wall with the actual archetype, hah. Thanks!
I was thinking about them earlier, does Pauper have the card support for a steal and sac themed archetype in RB via Act of Treason and Fling/Carrion Feeder, for example? I know we don't get Barrage of Expendables or Goblin Bombardment unfortunately, but something to kind of stand in for that might be all that archetype needs to be a strong aggro archetype with a kind of synergy flair. And for UR, can Spells Matter be a proper archetype yet? We have Kiln Fiend, Wee Dragonauts, Nivix Cyclops, Goblin Electromancer and play a high density of good spells in U and R - even without a spells matter theme. I think that will be something that I will try to test more, especially if I move from 360 cards to anything more (though maybe those should just be my 3 UR cards and see what happens).
Question for everyone:
Has anyone tried designing a pauper cube with just NWO style commons and effects for color pie?
An idea that's really captured my attention is doing something like NOT running Merfolk Looter/Thought Courier since "looting" has moved into Red over Blue, for example.
Does this just lead to a really boring cube with a far reduced power curve, or is it still interesting?
Also, is there a list I could reference somewhere of the pauper combos?
On The Source I saw some people talking about a board plan of force + disrupting shoal to beat RiP and I suppose opponents' countermagic. Is that pretty much the standard in the brewing here too?
Thanks again.
I've looked for a few primers on the actual combo win and no one has spelled it out because everyone else sees it but me, I just want to make sure that I get it. I am looking at building this online because I like other dredge builds but really don't like the MTGO LED price.
Thanks!
I think that the Vraska half is super awesome, and very seductively dangerous with the way she is posed (like she just caressed the face of one of the statue dudes she made before stepping forward) and I like the Jace half. It's just a hood down shot, I don't think it looks all that weird, I thought Jace was a pale dude, and I think he looks good because his pose looks like he is pissed and ready to smack someone and kind of wary, which I kind vibe on him being as he is a politician now.
I don't understand the 1 glove thing and actually thing no gloves would look better, but that's probably in the style guide so w/e.
Anyways, I think it looks good. The whole thing.
I also hate that UB is limited to derp derp, lemme mill you. I wish they would take it somewhere else.
