While I appreciate you guys getting excited over this (because it's awesome!), this is indeed custom artwork commissioned and produced by StarCityGames.com.
I ordered the set and they arrived yesterday. They came rolled up, but the rolling wasn't great, so they had some creases in them. I flattened them out overnight and continue to do so today and I think they will be fine. I plan on having them framed up. They looked pretty good initially, and I think they will look great when they are framed. I will try and take a picture to share once they are finished.
I will contact you privately re: this -- if your prints are not in pristine condition I want to make them so
What do you guys think the odds are they will restock?
I think they're quite good -- in fact, we're working on that now
Does anyone know if they come with frames, even cheap plastic poster frames?
Me and my friend are planning to buy the set for our college dorm.
when it's clear that you've sold at least 22 more forests than of each of the others, someone did their planning wrong.
All these good problems. Yes, our numbers were a bit off re: popularity, but it's pretty difficult to judge before things go to market.
$20 for a poster is not a good deal. Go through the artists and get a print from them if you are on a budget but want good artwork. Plus you are supporting the artist and putting more money in their pockets instead of StarCity.
Arguing "what is a good deal" aside, do note we are selling these FOR John himself. He and his agent have been VERY involved in the process, from selecting the printer, the paper, the printing process and approving the final product.
The same lithographs you find on ebay are the same ones we are selling. The exact same.
I am just pointing out that calling them a "lithograph" versus a "poster" is disingenuous. If someone is reading this thread and they're on the fence as to whether or not to buy it, I wouldn't want them to do so under the impression they were purchasing something "high end" when they, in fact, are not.
Nomenclature is what it is, but ultimately this is a high quality product that was approved 100% by the artist himself. The paper is also not "random poster paper", but chosen specifically by the artist for its quality.
We are changing the nature/behavior of this intro screen today. I apologize for the inconvenience, we certainly don't want to lock out anyone from visiting the site
This is false and I would like an explanation as to how that program alleges this is happening. My guess is a function of the app is triggering a false alarm, but I don't know how Protect My Privacy actually works.
It's true we do have analytics running for the app based on what you -do- in the app, but this is standard usage tracking done by virtually any app worth it's salt. We also track crashes this way so any crash can be reported and fixed.

(And I art directed it. And Kristen killed it!)
That is a terrific point and we are making that change asap

What do you think? Standard + Cube + Other formats?
All I can say is that I promise we're working on it.
Looks sweet. But real..?

I'd suggest these:
$17 Frame: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001K4BYDC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A2COXGHER2MRD
$8.50 Matte: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049O4WIE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2COXGHER2MRD
We use them ourselves
