Sun Titan is kind of meh here, as his recursion targets are underwhelming. My .02Posted in: 7rascendentalista Blog

I don't think you can go wrong with Balance. It could be unbanned in Legacy and if it was, it would skyrocket.
I am with Mr C on bulk rares being the way to go. Huge quantities of cards with potential or unique effects are the way to go IMO.
And yes, cards that literally double in value in the span of days could be used for investing purposes if you are a big player.
The bottom line is that people like to 'go infinite' and not spend money on the hobby. I have personally made money over time on MTG. I paid for my wedding and honeymoon on the profits of ebay sales 6 years ago. It is a lot of work, but I personally enjoy it a lot more than grinding the day away at my office job.
Honor of the Pure needs a replacement in all of the white creature swarm style decks, Mikaeus has the added benefit of pumping Champion of the Parish, and it no longer just folds to Gut Shot if you run it out there on turn 2.
Opinions?
Does anyone see any cards here that are poised for an increase? I am really struggling to imagine anything going up too much with the exception of two cards: Angel of Serenity and Jarad's Orders.
I am in 100% disagreement mode on the Angel with RE. With Titans rotating, it is by far the best creature that you can ramp into in the current standard. It is also the best Unburial Rites target. I personally think it is the best card, or second best in the set. I have had the opportunity to play with Jace yet and he seems to be well regarded.
As far as Jarad's Orders goes, it is a unique tutor that combos well with a lot of different cards and, like all tutors, it gets better every time a new creature with Graveyard interactions is printed.
I would love to hear other opinions now that people have played with the cards!
Rite of Replication was a $1 foil while in print. Lowest buy-it-now on Ebay right now is $11 shipped. This is a much better rate of return and pretty easy to accomplish.
Target had about 10 of the "Extreme Value Packs", 3 of which contained 3 commander decks plus one precon. Two of them were Political Puppets, Devour, and Mirror Mastery plus a Morningtide Precon. The third one had Counterpunch instead of the Mirror Mastery.
FYI, I have found that some of the single Mirror Mastery Precons are actually Heavenly Inferno if you open the box.
