    This is hardly believable if the lands are to be playable. I play a land and lose 3 life. Play another, lose another three life... if I end up playing yet another one, there go 9 life in total. Have you ever thought just how bad these are in a format rich in burn like Legacy?

    Wizards said that they would be playable... I'm hopping that the information posted on post 244, where cok_spoiler says that the cards are a flip version where you pick the basic land type as they come into play is right.


    I just want to clarify that that part is ***speculation*** - i don't yet know exactly what the cards do. That was just an educated guess at the approach they may take.

    Sorry about starting a new thread on this, RE, but the last one is closed..

    So - I have heard from a reliable source (wizards employee - RE can vouch for this, as can my history, i hope) that there will definitely be dual lands in Ravnica (though set or block I'm not certain). Not just that, but we'll never again see anything closer to the original duals than these (unless they change the reprint policy, i guess).

    My thought is with one of two possibilities

    Legendary Land - Forest Plains

    or

    Land - Mountain/Land - Forest
    When ~ comes into play, you may flip it.

    (note that neither is a basic land, given the current rules).

    (Note that i have no spilers yet, and I suspect I'm useless this time, since 'Rathi' has all my outs Smile )

    Edit: oh, and about the Matsu-Tribe Sniper, if it was an Archer, why would they do that? The other classes of snakes (Warriors and Shamans), have a purpose (from the brother and sister). Making a Archer would be pointless, unless they have some Archer theme or summat up their sleeves. Also, Matsu-Tribe Decoy sure looks like an archer, but his creature types? Snake and Warrior.:laugh:


    Who can know why Wotc do these things?

    I'm guessing he's an archer cause he can do things to flyers. The green creatures that can do that stuff are usually archers, spiders, or a marquee creature type (like spirit).

    My opinion is that any card that requires you to play bad cards in order to do anything less than a guaranteed win is bad. And I'm a combo player.

    Therefore, this card is not the best ever. If I want to play a card to draw 10 bad cards, I'll play collective unconscious, or something like that. At least then I'll be able to twiddle my Gaea's Cradle and play them all.
