Yeah I've got a Foil Kokusho that's steadily decreasing in value. I've decided to keep it because it's easily one of the most impressive casual multiplayer creatures of all time. Might as well keep it you know?
It's kinda like how Avatar of Woe is still worth so much, I reckon give it a few more years and kokusho will rise in value again.
Meddling sorcerer sounds cool but Its hard to gauge how powerful it is. I guess you have to spend 6 mana to name 2 cards, and it's in colours that don't traditionally get lots of mana, so it would be late game before you cast this.
Here's an enchantment that I thought of today. Something that hasn't really been explored yet (although I haven't read all 2000 posts on this thread so maybe it's been posted)

Enchantment
If you would draw a card, you may take the bottom card of your library and put it into your hand
It would probably be blue, but it could be black or green too maybe. I'm not sure how useful this would be, but it has synergy with cards that put your permanents on the bottom of your library, such as the stylus from mirrodin.
I tried exaustion and it worked alright sometimes, but Gigadrowse just works so much better. Here are some great ways to use gigadrowse that don't work with exaustion
1. You can't quite go off this turn so you cast heartbeat and during their upkeep gigadrowse all their lands.
2. Against countermagic, you can tap their islands at their end of turn so you can combo off without fear.
I bought the Peer Kroger's Reanimator deck from Worlds Berlin, and since I've bought it, I've almost replaced all the gold bordered cards in it with the real versions. I'm just missing 3 Burning Wish and a Cabal Therapy.
I really like the WC decks, my friends and I usually buy one each every year and we still play with all of them.
So I guess I'm a n00b,
can you guys give me some help, as I can't find any articles on how to play this deck properly.
Some questions:
1. Muddle the Mixture: what do you transmute it for? would you often search out an elder or something?
2. With only one invoke the firemind and only one recollect, how do you combo out fast enough? It seems that with all the one ofs, you are gonna have to do a whole lot of transmuting to get the combo rolling. In my deck I find myself casting the invoke to draw a bunch of cards, then using a recollect and a drift that I draw to search out an early harvest and get back invoke, I find that it really helps the combo having the extra recollects and the invokes.
My version of heartbeat is far less controlling with more emphasis on comboing out. I play:
4 Recollect
3 Invoke the Firemind
3 Gifts Ungiven
I don't play Maga, I just stick to GUR. It makes my combo much more consistant. Of course Cranial for Invoke the Firemind would rape my deck, but that's what the transformative sideboard is for.
Accelerate and Stall in the early game, hopefully casting Gifts Ungiven as soon as possible. Usually you will Gifts for 4 powerful legends. Usually Kodama of the North Tree and Kokusho will be in those 4.
Reanimate the ones in the 'yard and cast the ones in your hand. Hopefully smash some face.
Note: The mana base consists of what I actually own. By all means replace some of those pains with some Duals from Ravnica
It never really was a budget deck if you wanted to be competitive. Yavimaya Coasts have been hard to come by where I live. Luckily I have Jittes from my type 2 decks that I can shove into madness next Extended season.
I've wanted to put armadillo cloak into madness for some time, if you want to splash white into your madness deck, what other white cards woul be good?
Anurid Brushhopper maybe?
That's better than spiketail hatchling
Spiketail hatchling is actually a good card but printing a better one wouldn't be totally broken or anything.
Flavorwise I don't actually see anything wrong with a white counterspell, although it probably won't happen as it's pretty much blue's territory.
bane of the living
willbender
I'm sure there are more...
