    My argument on the exert thing is that the opponent basically has no reason not to block this with their 3/3, because they'll either trade or they take 3 and keep their creature but Freya dies either way, and not killing their 3/3 in the trade is actually probably worse. In cost analysis, this is effectively a legendary Watchwolf, so the exert isn't really going to be necessary.

    Reason is because they don't always have a 3/3 on their side of the board. You can easily play a heiarch turn 1 and play this and something else and then next turn swing with a 3/4 with this ability. This can be done before the opponent gets to establish a board. And it also makes chump blockers very weak against it. No chumps allowed. It's really good but not too good as is.

    It was extra writing but it did gain from it also. There are cards that look for legendary cards in your deck as well as the cards that care if a saga, an artifact, it a legendary card is played. It does ooperate differently than just Planeswalker. So legendary is a must on all Planeswalkers moving forward as they all got errata.

    The lifelink doesn't act as Mana. You still have to pay other costs... Such as Mana. The card is pretty perfect as is. Maybe reduce the casting cost by one generic Mana.

    Agreed that the correction was done very well to keep with the chosen colors. I still disagree with the voice of colors for her though. But that's a matter of opinion. The exert trigger does do well here. You attack for 2 without exerting and attack for 3 basically unlockable damage if you exert. That just feels right and should see print

    For some reason I thought we were still in Feb. I'm giving myself the end of 2 months down the road. So by the end of May I'll be streaming. Not sure if just streaming on Twitch or will be doing that and YouTube. All depends on the computer. But I'm excited to see how the deck performs. You are clearly the white creature master.

    Agreement with Alpha. Unfortunately it is a color pie break and not really a bend.
    That said, I don't know how much FFXIV you played but Freya is definitely red. She has anger and chaos built in and unleashes it a few times. Most notably during the scene with that guy in heavy armor. Don't remember his name. She's very Boros. You can keep it as is with the cost of WR. Or you could take her creature type into consideration and make it RG and it's also fine as is. Or lastly you could make it W or G and a red. I don't know how to do that symbol.

    Sounds like it goes deep. They know you are trying to play around them playing around it. Lol. Vicious cycle. Kinda feels like the hidden cards from Ursa's saga block.
    But what I was saying is try to make it where it's uncounterable in some way. Maybe it makes something like an emblem when it resolves and the effect goes off when the conditions are met. Like it's cast and if it resolves then it goes into exile. Not cast again or finish casting it, however you want to interpret it, in the originally written way. Basically right now it has to make it through 2 castings. If that can be cut to 1 in some way I feel like it would benefit the mechanic.

    2 feels like the correct number and I'd love to see this mechanic in a future set. You did really well with this. Cost and power may need balancing, but doesn't that go for every card? Can make a burn style card also.

    Wait, I thought that was how I had it worded. What I was going for what that each creature you control that successfully deals combat damage would get a trigger. If 3 creatures dealt combat damage, you can get 3 creatures back from your graveyard.

    Plus I like this design because it encourages aggro; an archetype that has fallen from grace in Commander.
    No, the "return that many" means that if a creature deals 3 damage to a player you get 3 creatures. If 3 creatures each deal 1 damage you get back 3 creatures as well. Unblocked this guy gets back 5 creatures. Which is why I've said it's an overwhelming advantage.


    Exactly. It's a very powerful ability. Too powerful. I'd make it one creature for each tops and make you sacrifice when you play this. That way it goes with the name of the card and also makes you have to hit with at least 2 guys to start getting advantage.

    Decklists. Not to mention you see their hand. If they later play one and didn't put one in the graveyard you can just call the judge at that point.
