This month is again going to be Pauper because of demand, but we will be venturing into other formats in the future. All updates can be found here or via Twitter.
Frankly, I'm thrilled. Three hours is a lot easier to find than four, and three hours whenever I have some free time is awesome. I realize that losing DEs is bad news for mtgo as a whole
It is not three hours, it is at most three hours. It's a big difference as these are single elimination and more importantly you pay the same to join and win less. I think the bigger issue here as people point out is that it might be detrimental to the format in the long run, but I won't "the sky is falling" on that until I hear what their plan is (something many should consider)
Hope that's sarcasm, anyone who honestly thinks this has to do with Kibler's rant is unfortunately quite misled. Of all the conspiracy theories out there on this, this one is the most ridiculous.
think people need to keep in mind that the only reason they are giving us 8-mans is because the only event up to this point they let us play in was Dailies and by removing those they provided no events for Pauper players
it isn't so much a gift as pity, if they bring back DEs I wouldn't be surprised if they removed the 8-mans
I realized I can in no way shape or form afford both this and paper magic.
that's funny, not sure why people assume it'll be cheap lol it is cheaper many times than playing paper, but playing both requires obviously a larger bank roll
that aside I like to always vouch for mtgo traders, I've sold three collections to them online and one paper they've always been fast fair and without issue
Just Sin is indeed correct. Repeatedly doing something that has no bearing on the game other than to run out the clock is considered stalling and illegal. I don't actually know anyone that has been banned for it, but I know a few people that have gotten warning emails from WOTC.
saw Omega posting on twitter as to having played a jace to add seconds lol clearly I'm not the only one, I still feel if they've used that much time off the clock they've wasted everyone's time including those who completed their match and now had to wait so I have no sympathy
I have two unless you count little red men (Goblins) as competitive, then I have 3.
With an expenditure of less than $10 I could probably build a couple different variations of MUC as I have nearly all the expensive cards.
yep goblins is a deck that shows still in DEs
not sure how many double voted on the straw poll, but its showings some very interesting things was really wanting to know about affordability and variety etc

something said probably just to get a response, but that many were thinking and not wanting to say

yea just saw an ORC saying that the other day, with all the issues they have I wouldn't chance it
