The first one is pretty bad. I mean 4 burn for 4 is average (I guess), but the splice is aweful.

The second has an awesome splice cost.

I said it before and I'll say it again - YOU CAN'T 2-for-0 WITH THIS. Its an on board trick so your opponent isn't going to be dumb enough to attack into you with only half his guys. Also, you can't untap his creatures so you have no game plan if he swings with everyone.

ALL he does is removes blockers in two ways. Either you steal them during your own turn or force your opponent to attack with everything leaving no one to block. He's certainly no bomb, but having a five power creature that is potentially unblockable could be good.

Actually, you can go 2-for-0 with it. Attackers are declared before they tap, so he declared his two dragons as attackers, you take one, the other gets tapped, and they both die.

Not bad. I like the alternative splice cost.

    Two important notes:

The creature can be legendary. Imagine the look on your oponent's face when they play a Myojin, of Life's Web or Seeing Winds and you take it, and then remove the divinity counter.
Also, the creature doesn't untap. So, you can't take your oponent's tapped Yosei and attack them with it.

But, if your oponent attakcs with two dragons, you can take the one with the better death effect, kill both, and get the better effect.

Or, if you're playing U/R (huh?), and have out a teller of tales, you can play a phsycic puppetry to flip this guy, as well as to untap both dragons (don't forget the teller), and then take them both, and attack with a surprise ten damage that basically cost you 1U to do this turn. It's even better if you can sacrifice the dragons somehow.

Good combo: This and either Akki Avalanchers, or Crack th Earth, plus whatever that is that gets +1/+0 when a land goes into a graveyard.

Terashi's verdict can kill an unblockable wicked akuba before it can deal damage. Not bad.

Why is the elemental a 1/1? Shouldn't it be an X/X?

Actually, yeah... it's from BOK. :p

Chisei, Heart of Oceans - :2mana::symu::symu:
    Legendary Creature - Spirit (R)
    Flying
At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice Chisei, Heart of Oceans unless you remove a counter from a permanent you control.
    4/4
    #32/165

    (from a trustable source)

Not that good. I mean, how many things have counters in CHK/BOK?

Isn't quash four mana? I think we can all agree that we would rather have a quash effect than this.

Interesting card. I'd put this into a deck if I had drafted it. It will be pretty hard to get to work the way you would want it to though.

I just realized you can play this on turn five with no mana acceleration.

    Turn four: Play sachi/sosuke.
Turn five: Sac sachi/sosuke, play Patron.

If you play sachi, and you've played any two shamans before that, you can play it on turn four:

    Turn two: Orochi Sustainer.
    Turn three: Orochi Leafcaller.
Turn four: Sachi. End turn (you could play it now, but it's better to surprise your oponent with a 7/7 blocker on turn four). Either suprise your oponent badly, or at the end of their turn to prevent summoning sickness, tap the sustainer and leafcaller for four mana each, and then sac sachi.
