Has anyone mentioned what a blatant color pie violation this is? Since when does green get to steal? (yes, I'm aware of Gilt-Leaf Archdruid and consider that a mistake, too)
Remember Primeval Bounty? That card keeps control of the results in the hands of the caster, and generally never goes dead. Can't say the same for Waste Not, and rarely was a card more ironically-named.
As Rebels/Mercenaries, among other pairings, has taught us -- just because a card has an opposite doesn't mean one should be printed.
I agree that Equip is very fine mechanically, but from a flavor standpoint, it's preposterous at times. For instance, how does a Wall don a helmet? Or a Snake, footwear?
