I haven't played the deck, but I was wondering: Do I really need Jace 2.0 to make this deck competitive? I'd like to play this deck on Nats, but I won't buy Jace if the deck is alright without him.
Ty.
I played UG Polymorph with and without Jace 2.0, and as stupid as it might sounds, See Beyond does the same job Jace 2.0 makes. Gives you card advantage and lets you reshuffle a bad card (I.E. Iona/ Emrakul) in your deck. it's 0.40$ for a playset, Jace is 40$ a piece
I prefer Awakening Zone. Gives you multiple chump blockers (more than 1 per turn if you have multiple copies of Awakening Zone, Garruk can't), gives you lots of mana to hard cast Emrakul if needed and also, can't be destroyed by Hexmage
I'll probably be playing Jund for the next PTQ in Montréal (Québec, Canada) wit hthis deck list (the sideboard is messed up I know.... dunno how to make it go to the ''sideboard'' space).
Green/Blue is my favorite color combination and I didn't want to make a FISH deck with a splash of gren for quest of renewal... THIS combo is good AND playable
I would try to run more control tho and probably some Canopy Cover.
9-1-0 vs Jund
10-0-0 vs UW control
0-9-1 vs Mystic (wich I doubt that I will have to deal with in Montréal)
So, if I play against jund and UW control all my 7 matchs, I'll be happy

...YES, it's the Chapin Polymorph build...tested it and Awakening Zone wasn't needed at all.
