We still get Eldritch Moon to see if there are more uses for it before it rotates out of Standard.

We get an entire other block too before this card rotates out of standard.

At a local FNM the following interaction happened (please note I am neither player 1 or 2):

Player 1 casts Reflector Mage, targeting the opponent's Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
Player 2, who currently has 3 cards in the graveyard casts Crackling Doom in response, Crackling Doom resolves making 4 cards in the GY. With the Mage's ETB trigger still on the stack player 2 then taps Jace, draws a card, discards a card, and then flips Jace since there are now 5 cards in the GY.
Player 1 passes the turn, Player 2 draws a card. It is at this point that Player 1 realizes that Player 2 did not have the right combination of mana to cast Crackling Doom in the first place.

My question is this - can this game state be backed up to the point of the Reflector Mage's ETB trigger being put on the stack or is it too far gone/too complex?

    Thanks,

    Crap.

So with the green eldrazi token enchantment spoiled i think this will not see the light of day anymore?

Shame.. i would loved a second (good) black token maker in EDH.

I wouldn't discount this quite yet despite the green enchantment. They serve two completely different purposes. The black enchantment seems like a good source for ingest to fuel things like the new counterspell that returns 2 cards to the graveyard. This at 1B would ensure that you have 2 exiled cards when you get to your fourth turn to make that counterspell live....I'm voting real and I'll be super happy about it.

What it basically boils down to is this - you can buy the cards now for their current value, play them, enjoy them, and if it gets reprinted yes you'll lose some monetary value there but if you've gotten some use, and presumably won some prizes by using them you're probably further ahead. On the flip side, you can hold off buying them and if they don't get reprinted you'll probably end up paying at least what they're currently worth or possibly more since they may go up without a reprint.

    It's up to you.

I love how bad this makes Ivy Elemental look. I used to love that card.

Mistcutter Hydra makes Ivy Elemental extremely sad as well. I'm not sure this card is better than Hydra or not but it's another great manifest shenanigans enabler in a white/green deck that can take advantage of Hooded Hydra and Master of Pearls.

Where will the price of KTK Polluted Delta be in one year?

The fetches tend to mimic their ABUR dual land counterparts, for the most part (except for the modern Zendikar fetch price explosion) and Underground Sea, which has almost always been the most expensive dual is now tied with Volcanic after an uptick by Volcanic and some downward action on the Sea. Expect Polluted Delta to behave accordingly.

How about Noble Heirarch? What do we see the price of this doing? I'm thinking I'd like to dump them if it's going to nose dive. A reprint seems likely this go around, no?

I would say a reprint of Noble Hierarch is extremely likely given a) its a mana dork, and b) it's current price is ridiculously inflated. Unless you plan on playing with them a lot over the next 6 months I would say capitalize while you can.

My guesses for Mythics are as follows:

    Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
    Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
    Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
    Linvala, Keeper of Silence
    Eye of Ugin
Jace, the Mind Sculptor (after it conveniently gets unbanned)If not then Karn Liberated
    Vengevine
    Mox Opal
    Thundermaw Hellkite
    Bitterblossom
And the remaining 5 mythics will be of a cycle, either the Titans or the Praetors

So, I think SCG just resoundingly answered OP's question...Wow.

Yep, $8,000 for an Unlimited Black Lotus, Moxes for $1300-$2000, $1500 for Time Walk and $2000 for Ancestral Recall. A set of NM Unlimited Power will now run you close to $20k. Good luck getting into Vintage if you didn't own power now lol.

Thank you D.J.! I will be more than happy to send 4 back to you should the other shipment arrive as I have no interest in keeping that which does not belong to me. I did get the email notification that they had shipped and I look forward to playing with them. Thanks again!!

Thank you D.J., I appreciate your timely response and more thorough explanation. I've yet to be let down by your customer service team and the initial response was certainly not at the level I've experienced in the past. Thank you for taking the time to look into this for me!

Sent an email yesterday via the website regarding an order that instead of being shipped to Canada (where I live) has somehow been sent to Brazil (where I've never been) and haven't heard anything back as of yet. I'm sure you guys are swamped with GPNJ only a week away but I've never not had an order from SCG not show up, regardless of where I've lived including several in the last couple of months to this very address. I was going to use the cards in that order at GP New Jersey :(. Its not the end of the world as I can use the non-foil version but still.

Update - 15 minutes after this post I received a reply to my email with a link to the tracking (which I already had since I know it went to Brazil), and the link says no package found. Not exactly a helpful response by any means lol.

Since you'll be cracking the product before release date if you sell out on any specific pre-order and then crack extras beyond what you originally listed, you can then list those online as well and possibly sell them too before the set releases.
You'd only be cracking boxes one day prior to release, that's when stores get their product.

I happen to know for a fact that there are stores that get their product prior to the day before a set's release....

If you're doing pre-orders you may just want to stay on the safer side of that equation and do 12-16 of each mythic and 24-28 of each rare. Since you'll be cracking the product before release date if you sell out on any specific pre-order and then crack extras beyond what you originally listed, you can then list those online as well and possibly sell them too before the set releases. If not then you have some stock online for people who didn't pre-order but want to pick the cards up after the fact.

There's nothing worse than having to crack boxes until you get that one specific mythic you needed because you didn't open enough to hit your pre-order levels.

Could this whole type of thing not be easily avoided by a deck being required to be cut at least once as the final action prior to it being returned to its owner, or if the deck is not cut that the owner of the deck may perform a cut as the final action?

I know it's been the same forever where your opponent randomizes your deck and once they give it to you that's the end of it, but that leaves the door wide open for these types of shenanigans. Sure the unscrupulous player may try to force a few bad cards to the middle of the deck and try to cut to it but that's a lot more difficult to do with any degree of consistency than to stack the top of an uncut deck.
