Spiderman for reasons already stated. Dude is strong enough to lift a car when powered down by writers, and more when powered up. With that kind of strength, combined with his super speed, and the fact that Batman like to leave his chin exposed, means an easy KO strike for Spiderman.

Batman really only wins against super powered characters because writers want him to so they come up with really stupid ways to make him win. Batman is a much more interesting character to read when he's going up against characters on the same level as him such as the majority of his rouges gallery (non-powered humans like Joker, Two-Face, Riddler, Penguin and such).

^^^Sounds like you're raising some smart kids. Good Job! Also, everything you said there is true.

I thought it was ok but not one I'll watch again. I had never noticed before how big Angelina Jolie's mouth is. Good lord...I swear she could fit a softball in there.

There was a Twilight Zone remake in the 80's that lasted 3 seasons. The outer limits was also remade in the 90's for 7 seasons. So it could have easily been one of those shows. Have you checked Dan Hedaya's IMDB page?

I like movies a lot and I can watch most of the ones I like over and over. The same is true for TV shows I like. So my list is way too long to post but the movie I've seen the most is Wayne's World. I've seen that movie at least a couple hundred times.

Oh for the love of God, people!!!!!!!!!!!

This is NOT a Michael Bay movie. He just produced it. For those who don't pay attention, that means he was there to get the money to get the film made. That's all. It's not a Michael Bay film so stop calling it that. He was producer on a ton of terrible horror remakes and none of those had explosions, Sepiriel. He also produced The Purge and it's sequel and that first film didn't have any of his trademark crap; it managed to suck all on its own.

Johnathan Liebsman directed this and every film he's directed has been terrible, so this film will be terrible becuase he made it, not Bay.

Semantics as far as I'm concerned. Michael Bay has so far been responsible for crap and nothing but crap, whether as a director or producer.

This movie just looks bad to me. Even when I ignore everything I know about Bay and drop any preconceived notions I have something about this just seems off. I can't quite put my finger on it but everything about it looks wrong. Except for Splinter, he looks pretty good.

  • posted a message on Will There Ever Be a Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter Crossover?
Yeah and in Tekken he primarily punches and kicks and only used the sword for special attacks, where as in Soul Calibur it's the other way around. The basic mechanics of the games are different, it has nothing to do with what characters are in them. The only way it would work is if they did two games like they're doing with the SF/Tekken cross overs with each developer making their version of the game. Even then it would probably be rough to make the signature moves we're all accustom to cross over smoothly.

I've been saying this needed to happen since the first crossover games. Honestly, who cares about Street Fighter vs. Tekken or SNK or Marvel or whatever? Give me Ryu vs. Scorpion, damn it! I want to be able to do this in a game!

I care. Tekken is better than MK could ever hope to be. MK has always used nice visuals and gratuitous gore to make up for sub par game play. Ryu vs Jin (awesome) is far more appealing to me than Ryu vs Scorpion (yawn).

Ultimately though I don't see it happening. Fighting games tend to fall into two types. The kind that block by pressing back like SF and Tekken and the kind that use a different button to block like MK and Soul Caliber. Trying to mix the two types probably wouldn't work very well.

To me this poll is asking if I'd rather be beaten and tortured to death or if I'd rather die of dehydration and starvation. Not really sure which to vote for...

Believe it or not, I am pushing a boycott on my facebook page.

This looks like garbage, and violates just about everything I loved about the movie.

I wont buy a ticket, not a chance.

If I had a FB page I'd join your boycott.

This movie is going to be terrible. It is not too soon to tell. It will be complete crap, just like everything else Michale Bay does. He's already ruined the Transformers, now he's doing it to the turtles. Next he'll find a way to **** up the Thundercats or Voltron or some other beloved piece of my childhood.

There is a special place in hell for Michale Bay.

  • posted a message on Should I feel bad?
You shouldn't feel bad at all. It was just an FNM and personal health trumps games and entertainment. Just offer the guy a rematch at a later time. The only thing you should feel bad about is playing a game that can require a lot of thought when you had a concussion. Even at it's easiest form magic still requires much more thought than is healthy for a brain that's healing. That's the part that was a bad move. Concussions should not be taken lightly, you have to let your brain rest and heal.

I agree with Cyan, the biggest problem was season 9 as a whole. Personally I didn't hate the ending but I do think it could have been better. The "twists" were in keeping with the show overall so it's hard for me to feel disappointed or surprised. The episode wasn't perfect by any means but it was definitely the best and most watchable of the season by a long way.

I would have like to see more of Ted and his baby mama dating and all that but that's another thing I can't really be angry about. After all, the show is "How I MET Your Mother", not "How I DATED Your Mother".

    Quote from Pixel Fist
My best friend also asked me out, said she was waiting for me for a long time.
Of course, I told her if she could wait a little for me to get my ex out of my head. I didn't want to compare her to my ex and she deserves a clean slate from me.

Good man! Jumping from one relationship to another is never a good way to go. It drives me nuts when I see people get into patterns of doing that and then can't figure out why none of their relationships ever work out.

Girlfriends take up a ton of your time. Now that time is all YOURS again! Enjoy it!

And as always after a break up, killing brain cells is great way to go. At first anyway, not for too long.

The art on Clergy en-Vec. Should be pretty obvious why.

Edit: and now that I notice the flavor text, that just takes it to a whole new level. I can't believe they printed that card.

  • posted a message on How strict are the rules at FNM?
Depends on where you play and who you play. Most places will give first timers a break on things. A lot of players will too unless they are total ass hats. Getting disqualified or banned probably isn't very likely (especially the banning).
