Play the mox(1st spell), play the tolarian, tap mox for mana vault(2nd spell), tap tolarian for :symu::symu:, tap vault for :3mana:, play Erayo(3rd spell) then use the remaining :2mana::symu: for the laboratory. Erayo flips from the lab and they were in a lock on the first turn. There are ways around it of course, things like Boseiju, but my friends just scooped. If only it had been a tournament.
I honestly thought Jace was going to run away with this. I figured people could most identify with him (as he is the only one that looks like a normal human besides elspeth) and isn't U more popular than the other colors (in general)?
Seriously? So then what does Garruk with his helmet off look like? Or Chandra? Or Sarkhan Vol? They all look pretty human to me. Heck, even Tez looks human aside from his arm.
Personally I like Garruk. I love nature and animals and I hate rules and conformity so white and blue are not options for me.
Seriously. Do we really need them to come out that often? My friends and I were talking and we all agreed that a new set every 6 months would be fine. Even every 4 would be better. The cards really don't get old and boring to play with that fast and if they came out less often we could get a little more time with them for type 2 play.
The main thing that bugs us about it though is that with the current system you have to spend a small fortune to stay competative in standard. Sure there is the odd rouge deck that can stomp a few of the net decks, but those are few and far between and usually only shut down one or two deck types. If you want to be competative where I live you are forced to play with big money cards and decks that are worth an average of $400. Do we really need this?
I feel like whenever I've finally caught up on a set they release a new one and I have to start all over again. Its annoying. Does anyone else feel this way?
Denny's for sure. The only reason I ever have to go to either one is a hangover or being still drunk early in the morning. Where I live IHOP is more of an old people/family eatery. I don't need those folks giving me those looks, judging me with their eyes when all I want is some freakin' greasy hash browns and bacon. Mmmmm, bacon.
The service at Denny's is considerably inferior but the food is pretty much the same and Denny's is open 24hrs. IHOP isn't where I live. And people at Denny's don't care if you're not sober. Denny's FTW!
Mox Diamond, a land to chuck, Tolarian Academy, Mana Vault Arcane Laboratory, and Erayo.
