Had one good experience selling paper cards so I am in the middle of a second. Great turn around time. I will continue to use them for selling my unused cards.
I think that that the price hike in magic is probalby not sustainable if the prices go so high that the format dies. There is always an inherent risk when goods are not truely a necessity. There will be a breaking point for each format which is why I did not say put a time on how long your staple will be under that warranty. Time will tell how long these things remain popular. I would definitely point to the track record of Wizards being pretty good on keeping interest and growing your investment. Magic is no beanie babies.
I think that you make a good point jeff. Eternal formats stay around a lot longer. Think of buying the eternal staples like buying something with very long warranty. You are paying a premium for the item but it will be there for quite some time.
Thanks for giving us such good reasoning Ben. It does make a lot of sense that if you are running these events and do not have enough staples to supply it, then you really need to get the staples or risk a peak in the format and a loss of revenue. It seems that the popularity of Legacy is directly affecting the supply of cards which in turn affects the price.
On a side note. I wonder how much of the supply problem is people that have quit and just kept their collections versus the speculation buys.
I have never had a problem with these guys. As people have said before the prices are pretty high but negated a bit as you go up in rewards. A good way to do this is to buy your box from them when the set comes out. That way you do not overpay too much and you still get the rewards for when you want singles.
I have followed this thread (lurking) for quite some time. I will continue to do so as long as it is up. Whether or not I have to sign in to do so seems a minor annoyance to access all the information we get from it.

Wurmcoil keeps rising as well...How high does it seem like it might go?
