The forum has existed and strived for over ten years with long deadlines, why would they only now become poison to it?
Also, the thing with deadlines is it's very hard to find a middle ground for them. Every deadline that is perfect for someone will be too long or too short for someone else. There's no pleasing everyone.

We could try running a "Quick Games" queue, maybe. Shrugs

I like this idea; I'd like to at least consider Quick Games as a queue that has a hard deadline cap for all games, but no other queue-imposed requirements. Games could be listed as Quick Normal, Quick Specialty, Quick Whatever, but having the option to put a game of any complexity/size in that queue would help with keeping the queue filled and having games and hosts ready to go.

Hell, if you guys think this is worth a test, I have a review-ready setup (Bastard Mod Mafia II) and a couple ideas that'd make for good test subjects without having to staple the deadline requirement onto an existing setup in one of the current queues.

I've completed exploratory design on Annorax's Bastard Mod Mafia II and would like a volunteer to review and help me balance it, aiming for a PCQ or other slot once MU4 is finished.

... and since I used that votecount to start the second one, that error carried over into my votecount 1.2. Fable was lynched at L-1.

I do not believe much would have changed had this error been caught given that Fable had claimed scum. I apologize for the error; I'm self-reporting it to the Council and the other site admins for any actions they feel necessary to resolve the situation. I do not feel that stopping the game would make any difference, so things will continue as they are now unless directed by the council or the administration.

The Day 2 votecount that is up now is correct.
I can't help but laugh at how perfect your profile picture is given the circumstances Grin Kidding aside, I'll be pretty nittygritty on the votecounts from now on.

More tomorrow but for the sake of confirming Necarg had an extra vote and TS's didn't count to add up to only 9? Mods:Can we get a votecount of Fable's lynch? Couldn't hurt to ask but if [redacted] at least we know it's fishy- if TS's vote didn't count.

There was only 9. It's purely mod error, no multiple votes and no non-counting votes were posted.

Necarg unvoted Fable at #152 but it still applied

    Facepalm

I see what I did. I accidentally read "unvote name" as "vote name."

My bad for reporting that vote as standing when it clearly shouldn't have been.

Hey Annorax, is the first votecount correct?

Still working on the voting inconsistencies.

The first votecount for toDay is correct; I ran it twice. I'll do another one tonight after I'm off work.
Sorry, I meant the first votecount overall, meaning Day 1 first votecount Stardate 69966.5 or Post #245.

I'll recheck it after I'm off work. Too many calls, I wish Q would just turn the callers into frogs or something.

Just checked the rules and rule 3. Votes must be in BOLD or they will not be counted. Unvoting is not required, but is appreciated. ---- I'm confused by the last past, we can all vote multiple times or maybe it's talking about bolding for unvoting? Basically wtf with that wording but vote TappingStones to test. I think it's intended that the mods didn't post the wagon because someone has an ability for it.

This just means that if you change your vote, an intervening unvote isn't required.

Holographic security reports back in to everyone via the viewscreens; TappingStones has been found passed out in one of the lower decks of the station, face down in a puddle of his own piss. Toxicology reports his blood alcohol count was 1.2%; he's fine now, but must've had one hell of a fun night.

Day breaks on Deep Space Nine with the shrieking annoyance of a Red Alert alarm that nobody seems to be able to turn off. After much complaining, Q appears and turns it off, then notices something... Hey, wait, weren't there more of you guys last night? Holographic security forces quickly search the station and find two bodies.

col_mongoose was found dead in one of the Jeffries tubes next to an outer docking pylon, stabbed approximately 45 times. The holosecurity isn't quite sure, the station's EMH is offline, and Dr. Bashir is nowhere to be found (possibly because he's still in prison... or living in exile on Andoria... this timeline doesn't keep itself straight at ALL.) He was Worf, Town Vig-with-a-Phaser. Security notes that several dozen weapons were found on and around him, including two bat'leths, a mek'leth, two tik'leths, a rusty spork, and a kar'takin, but no phaser was among them. There was, however, a rather nice old Earth AK-47 complete with ten clips of ammunition, which would've been sold at auction by Quark, but...

The holosecurity also searched Quark's Bar, Grill, Sometimes-Cheaty Casino, Conference Room, and Holosuite Emporium, and found Sir Chris with his throat slit in the back. He was Quark, Magnificent Bastard (town eavesdropper.) Four bars of latinum were found in his pockets, and several hundred more were found in various hidden compartments and safes around the office, all of which were immediately relocated to a monitored storage facility within the Security complex for shipping to his next of kin. Calls to Grand Nagus Rom about appointing a new Ferengi Ambassador to Bajor were tersely answered by the district subnagus, Pel, who said she had no idea where Rom was & didn't care if he ever came back.

It is now Day 2. 16 alive, 9 to lynch.

The station's population gathers in the station's arboretum and looks up toward the ceiling/exposed station hull, where they find Fable happily putting his neck into a noose that's attached to a yardarm. He shouts out "**** YOU ALL, all I wanted was to kill your universe's worthless Kira, but I'd have settled for killing you worthless townies." Q appears and shouts Will you just shut the hell up already??? and makes the bulkhead Fable's standing on disappear with a snap of his fingers. Fable falls, and everyone else hears a satisfying CRUNCH sound as Fable's neck snaps.

Fable07, Iliana Ghemor, Kira Impersonator/Mafia Godmother has been lynched.

Night actions are due to me by Sunday, June 17, 9 PM CST.

Mods is this correct? Concerning post 558?

Everyone quit voting right now. This is the second time I could have sworn I unvoted and I stayed voting someone.

    It's fixed.

Also, happy new year in a few hours. I'll leave you to ponder what that means.
