Feb 4, 2014Double Negative posted a message on Launch Giveaway!Venser, Shaper Savant is definitely my favorite. I love playing Draw-Go Control and Counterburn decks, so Venser is my man. Honorable mention shout out to Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir. Loved the Time Spiral block in general if you can't tell.Posted in: Announcements

On another note, as far as win conditions go, you should never need anything but Archaeomancer and Turn//Burn pre-board. These are part of your combo and yet they can act as win conditions, either becoming a million hasty 1/2s or being recurred and cast a million times respectively. If you can find another win condition that does double duty like the above then great. But don't throw in win conditions that serve only that purpose when there are far more synergistic options. However, I recommend putting Doorkeeper in the sideboard against Control for a Plan B.
The cool thing about Biovisionary decks is that there are so many clones that you gain a large amount of versatility from. You can copy your opponent's best creatures to slow them down or even beat them with their own stuff (surprisingly common actually) or you can copy your own utility creatures to slow down aggro (think Omenspeaker or Brindle Boar). I will say though that the deck REALLY needs access to a good creature with lifelink that doesn't exist currently.
