In my opinion this is the most brutal and effective version of Daretti, Scrap Savant. Often playing him out on turn 2, or even 1.

What's cooler than sneaking in huge artefacts and impacting the game like that?
Well how about denying your opponents lands, creatures, spells, or just playing in general?
You should be looking to cast Daretti, Scrap Savant on your second or even first turn. If you can’t you need to mulligan pretty aggressively, essentially if it doesn’t help you cast Daretti, Scrap Savant get it out. Once you get Daretti, Scrap Savant out you want the emblem as quickly as possible to try and lock the game up Mindslaver, Nullstone Gargoyle , with Possessed Portal, Ward of Bones.
Once Daretti, Scrap Savant is out you want to cast a board wipe to slow your opponents down enough that you can trigger the emblem.Only use the minus ability when necessary. If you run out of cards in your hand you can choose 0 cards to discard on the plus ability.
That being said if you start with Lion’s Eye Diamond , a free red source of mana, be it mana rock or a land, a free artefact and a finisher in your hand, Nullstone Gargoyle, Trinisphere, Ward of Bones etc. you can slam Daretti, Scrap Savant and immediately tick him down and put yourself way ahead, more than likely too far ahead.
IS there any thoughts on Ghirapur Aether Grid? With Unwinding Clock it can easily take control of the game and without its away of getting more out of your artifacts at the end of turn. At cmc of 3 its not a burden to cast either. Alhammarrer's Archive seems like a no brainer. Yes I'll discard two cards and draw four thank you very much! Let's see I have 10 artifacts in play I'll gain 20 life with Tomb of the Spirit Dragon, yes please!
If you haven't built a deck with Necropotence in mind it's really hard to use. This was a variant of [cards]Donate[/card] deck and it was successful.
I know how good Necropotence is. It just seems silly to Donate your card draw engine to your opponent instead of something that will actually hurt them...
Its about 7 years to late to go into an Illusions of Grandeur / Donate deck. Even then Necropotence would be a better Donate target. I get the feeling if it is used in any format Stifle will be its soulmate.
I really like the idea behind your deck
But what about playing Reaper King instead of Atogatog? It might not come up that often but I think at least sometimes it would be interesting to actually be able to cast your general.
Also some of the Liege's could be interesting for the deck (Wilt-Leaf Liege and friends) and also Thawing Glaciers is always a nice option in EDH.
Reaper King would be better. I might actually be able to cast it!
I guess I should try and work in them Lieges. Wilt-Leaf Liege mIght be a little pricey. Thawing Glacier might be a little too much comes into play tapped lands, I'm wiling to try it out.
Another question... Why all of the Temples? If you're never planning on casting your general, you don't ever need the other color mana; is the Scry that important/vital to the deck? Seems like a lot of uneccisary CIT.
The temples are there for the scry. Getting Nytkthos, Shrine to Nyx is pretty key and white is not well known for its card advantage. free scry seemed like a really good idea. I'm open to other suggestions to filtering if you have anything.
I love it! What a fun idea Allows you to play mono white while gaining access to those hybrid cards you wouldn't normally be able to use at the cost of pretty much never using your general. Any reason you're using Atogatog vs another 5color legendary? Adding in a Chromatic Lantern would make it castable mid-late game. Child of Alara as a board wipe when you need it is always nice
I picked Atogatog because it is the most ridiculously unplayable 5 colour general and I'm not going to cast him any way. I have a Sliver Queen and with the amount of manaand I could produce a lot of sliver tokens. If Child of Alara self destructs there goes all my devotion. Plus, my removal suite has a lot of rfg enchantments and who knows what could pop out after it dies.
Thank you for the suggestion, but i think I would add a green element to get the land untapping creatures, ie Voyaging Satyr, and non-basic land searching cards, ie Sylvan Scrying before I add a blue element. But I'll add it to the possibilities.
After playing the deck 20 plus times I've noticed that the deck is mana hungry and you'll need to hit a land drop every turn for at least the first six turns. You can run into problems with mana flooding, I've recently dropped one land to go to 37. One of white's lesser known abilities is to play catch up with your opponents lands, see Land Tax,Tithe and Weathered Wayfarer. To this end you don't want to go first in a group of four. If there are more than four the best position is going third in case somebody drops an early Karoo land. The new Oblivion Sower is something I'd like to try out. I think it should be able to consistently get 1-2 lands and removing a few random card is always a bonus!
I based this deck on Dies_to_Doom_Blade's deck Daretti Land Death and Control, which has been retired.
In my opinion this is the most brutal and effective version of Daretti, Scrap Savant. Often playing him out on turn 2, or even 1.

Suggested Replacements & Substitutions
Bloodstained Mire or Wooded Foothills can become Arid Mesa, Evolving Wilds, Scalding Tarn or Terramorphic Expanse
Clock of Omens can become Ghirapur Aether Network
Defense Grid can become Sphere of Resistance
Metalworker can become Palladium Myr
Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond,or Mox Opal can become Jeweled Amulet
Mind Stone or Prismatic Lens can become Fractured Powerstone
Chandra, Pyromaster can become Smokestack
Simian Spirit Guide can become either Desperate Ritual or Pyretic Ritual or Rite of Flame
Cards that should be in but I don’t own:
Ruination
Notable Absences:
Crucible of Worlds
Ghirapur Aether Network – I’ve had a hard time putting it in the deck, Clock of Omens is nice because it can tap itself to pay the cost
Dead // Gone – I’d like to add it to deal with Gaddock Teeg
Pyroblast & Red Elemental Blast – I used them to great success in the previous version to great success. Most counter spells are blue and if you aren’t playing a blue deck pitch them to Daretti, Scrap Savant
Raze – I don’t like that I have to sac a land in addition to the cost and I can only destroy one land.
Recoup - Seems like a way to recycle big spells and viable food for Daretti, Scrap Savant.
Deck Changes:

Coming soon from Battle for Zendikar
- Void Winnower, Scour from Existence & Sanctum of Ugin
- Chandra, Pyromaster + Smokestack
- Desperate Ritual + Simian Spirit Guide - Both give me +1 red mana but Desperate Ritual can be countered and Simian Spirit Guide can't
- Darksteel Forge +Null Brooch
- Jeweled Amulet + Mox Opal
- Mountain + City of Traitors

Prismatic Lens our for Lion’s Eye Diamond – Oh my has Lion’s Eye Diamond led to some explosive starts!

b =B
g =G
w =W

Are there any others?
Can we do hybrid mana symbols?
Thanks!

Alhammarrer's Archive seems like a no brainer. Yes I'll discard two cards and draw four thank you very much! Let's see I have 10 artifacts in play I'll gain 20 life with Tomb of the Spirit Dragon, yes please!
This was a top tier deck archetype in 2000.
Here is a an article from that time and another deck to show you what it was up against
http://www.starcitygames.com/magic/extended/661_Ten_Extended_Decks_to_Beat_Part_2_Trix_And_Stasis.html
As Darth Bunny pointed if you can't gain life or remove enchantments it difficult to draw cards.
Reaper King would be better. I might actually be able to cast it!
I guess I should try and work in them Lieges. Wilt-Leaf Liege mIght be a little pricey. Thawing Glacier might be a little too much comes into play tapped lands, I'm wiling to try it out.
The temples are there for the scry. Getting Nytkthos, Shrine to Nyx is pretty key and white is not well known for its card advantage. free scry seemed like a really good idea. I'm open to other suggestions to filtering if you have anything.
Angel of Jubilation shuts off all my Phyexian mana cards. I thought Martial Coup was in the deck. I'll fix that right now!
I like Bringer of the White Dawn but Mindslaver seems a little too dickish. I could defiantly see adding Wayfarer's Bauble and other things to help. I saw Dawn Elemental but I'm not sure it does enough when i don't have Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. If I can find it in a dollar bin I'll give it a try. Crucible of Worlds is a must! I can't believe I forgot about it!
This is a deck idea I've been mulling over for a little while I need a little help finishing it off.
The main idea is to build up your devotion and using Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx cast a huge Decree of Justice, Entreat the Angels or repeatedly sink the mana into Heliod, God of the Sun or Mobilization.

- Twilight Shepherd+ Emeria Shepherd
- Journey to Nowhere +Stasis Snare
- Knight-Captain of Eos + Oblivion Sower
- Springjack Shepard + Archangel of Tithes
May 12, 2015
- Coldsteel Heart + Solemn Simulacrum
You can luck in to Coldsteel Heart with the Scrying Sheets but there are to many mana sources that come into play tapped. With Solemn Simulacrum it does put the land into play tapped but its actual acceleration with no caveats, I don't need to count my opponents land and it isn't put into my hand.
- True Believer + Burnished Hart
The True Believer is useful but the deck is fairly mana hungry and it desperately needs a bit of acceleration
- Sacred Ground + Plumeveil
My group isn't that serious and frowns on land destruction, if we became more cutthroat then Sacred Ground goes back.
- Petrified Field + Windborn Muse
- Crucible of Worlds + Veteran Bodyguard
- Horizon Canopy + Snow-Covered Plains
April 5, 2015
The Phyrexian mana Spells were cute but they weren't getting the job done. I need to turtle up and play a longer game. I've added a pillow fort package to give me more time to find Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.
- Phyrexian Metamorph + Ghostly Prison
- Hex Parasite + Story Circle
- Spellskite + Palisade Giant
There are also a few cards that aren't working out for me.
- Acolyte's Reward + Knight-Captain of Eos
Acolyte's Reward is cute but inconsistent. Knight-Captain of Eos gives me two fogs and with Mobilization the potential for more.
- Fracturing Gust + Gideon Jura
With a greater focus on enchantments Fracturing Gust becomes a liability. I'm not sold on Gideon Jura. but the possibility of Time Walk-ing my opponents is too good not to try.
- Adarkar Valkyrie + Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
Yes, I can put her in hand with Scrying Sheets and yes her ability has potential to be useful. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite's ability is immediate and is both removal and pump.
April 4, 2015
- Tezzeret's Gambit + Angel of Jubilation
The risk of Angel of Jubilation screwing up my other Phyerxian mana utility is worth the pump reward and hurt my opponents.
- Windbrisk Heights + Horizon Canopy
Windbrisk Heights wasn't working for me. It was either too late or when I was attacking with three creatures it was for the win. Horizon Canopy adds some desperately needed draw and with Crucible of Worlds its repeatable.
April 3, 2015
- atogatog + Reaper King
Why not us a general I might cast once in a while.
- Sacred Mesa + Martial Coup
Honestly, I thought I wrote Martial Coup in. That's fixed now!
March 31st, 2015 - Ring of Three Wishes + Seal of Cleansing
The Ring of Three Wishes is too slow and limited and Seal of Cleansing gives me a rattle snake and more devotion.
- Brave the Elements + Crucible of Worlds
Nykthos, Shrine to Nix is key to winning. There cannot be enough redundancy to put it back in play
- Snow-Covered Plains + Bojuka Bog
Why wouldn't I play it?
- Angel of Jubilation + True Believer
I just realized Angel of Jubilation stops me from casting my Phyrexian mana spells.
- Tower of Fortunes + Return to Dust
Tower of Fortunes just sits there most of the time and I was lacking artifact/enchantment removal. I can see putting Tower of Fortunes back in.
Aegis of the Gods
True Believer
Grand Abolisher
Windborn Muse
Auriok Salvagers- only really helps with Expedition Map, but isn't that enough?
Karoo lands: Azorius Chancery, Boros Garrison, Orzhov Basilica, Selesnya Sanctuary and the namesake Karoo
Act of Authority
Humility
Tezzeret's Gambit - more card draw
Tower of Fortunes - I need to see if I can hit 8 mana consistantly
Mirrorweave feels like more f a win more, change tokens to something else big for a surprise win
Vengeful Archon- Saw it in a dollar bin and seemed like a good alternate win condition
Bringer of the White Dawn I'll need to develop an artifact package to go with it.
Mindslaver would be the first piece.
