Hah. That's depressing. We get so little snow here in Texas that when we do it's excuse enough to miss school or work. (And we did get snow recently in a fluke of nature. It snowed for a solid 24 hour period on Thursday then had all melted by Saturday.)
IE: Texas > Minnesota.
Better jobs
Aggressive competition in the magic community
Tons of magic events to be had
Rarely snows
For that matter it's rarely Winter here.
Viva la TX I WIN!
Tribal Instant - God
Destroy target multi-colored permanent unless its controller pays 1 for each of its colors.
I liked the alliteration and the effect of grayness.
Instant
Ritual 1 (You may sacrifice a creature rather than pay Holy Ritual's manacost)
Target creature gets +1/+2. If you cast this without paying its manacost that creature gets an additional +2/+1 and gains lifelink until end of turn.
(ritual X (you may sacrifice x creatures rather than pay ~ card's manacost))

Welcome back magikylscorpio to the gaymers (previously someone else maybe?)
It's hard not to associate sexuality with magic considering the number of buxom babes depicted on cards.
Creature - Sable
Whenever Everglade Sable is dealt damage it gets +3/+3 until end of turn.

Flip X coins. For each heads draw a card.
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant Creature
Whenever enchanted creature blocks or becomes blocked tap it and remove it from combat.
That's...like a pacifism right? except it triggers block/attack kind of effects and requires you to have a creature to block their creature in order for it to work?

Hexproof, Haste
Sables are solitary, omnivorous creatures who over time have adapted to live on taigas. They meet only to mate. The young are born blind and nearly hairless. After two months they are weaned and leave their mother to fend for themselves.

Instant
Exile all creatures you control. For each creature exiled this way put a 1/1 white and red soldier creature token onto the battlefield. For each counter on creatures exiled this way put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
Creature - Cat Wall
Haste, Defender
Sacrifice a land: Petrified Lynx may attack this turn as though it didn't have defender.
Littered throughout the land are statues of the Goddess Evitha's favorite pet. It is said they move with the earth and attack with the Evitha's swift and decisive wrath. If you see one, it's better to steer clear than to risk evisceration during an earthquake
4/2
Sorcery
Sacrifice all lands you control. Creatures you control gain trample and gets +X/+X until end of turn where X is the number of lands you sacrificed this way.
*gulp* "Would you like fries with that?"

t, Unattach an Equipment from Yamjian Halfbreed: The unattached equipment deals 2 damage to target creature.
Someone thought it would be funny to teach the little halfling how to throw a Shuriken. By the time he reached adulthood he'd learned how to turn anything into a weapon just to prove he was as good as his full blooded brethren.

Sorcery
Return target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand then exile your graveyard.
You'd think in a world made of trash getting a loan would be pretty easy. But just like everyone else, I've invested in junk bonds. Hopefully this stipend will hold me over until another world's market crashes again.
Legendary Creature - Homunculus
W: Uberminnish gains protection from the color of your choice until end of turn.
U: Target attacking creature becomes blocked.
1: Uberminnish gets +1/-1 until end of turn.
1: Uberminnish gets -1/+1 until end of turn.

Getting a card into the yard is not usually considered a drawback, however. Maybe Firebolt isn't the best card to compare it to because it doesn't just go straight to the graveyard as you say. Maybe a better comparison is Vithian Stinger. It does almost half as much as this card and it's still sorcery speed. It still makes me think 4 mana is too cheap.
Having said that: 1, I like that we can have this kind of conversation about these cards. I get tired of the "Meh seems cool NOW RATE MY CARD" kinda stuff. And 2, I'm all for pushing boundaries. You have at least convinced me that it would need to be playtested to see which cost was correct (Though I don't think it's 3 mana ever)
NOW RATE MY CARD
