I've seen a few well run webcomics, ones that are almost never late. Strangely, when the ones I read are late, its often for several weeks, with no reason ever given as to why.

You have given a reason, its more the believeable (we all need breaks lol) and its not like you cancelled/just said screw this.

Of course, I can't wait to see the next chapter. And the best part? I know it'll be worth the wait. Smile

Well, that was great. In one night, I've lost my bf, got my rear end kicked, and am now stuck at home, nursing several major cuts and bruises.

Ah well, could be worse. At least I finally found my old Dream Halls casual deck. Maybe I'll try pairing it off against the Sneak Attack build I've been hammering out.

By the way, what do you all think are the best Sneak Attack targets? Smile

Liliana's deal was for Bolas to take the demon's contract, returning her soul to her. But, since Bolas never got what he wanted (the Ravnician Consortium Branch), the deal fell apart.

Tezzeret serves, but unwillingly. Bolas put a voice (Dr.Jest) in his head, forcing Tezzeret's service. Sarkhan is the only one to actually want to obey Bolas, but has seemingly been driven mad for it.

There are also apparently more branchs of the Infinte Consortium, with presumably more planeswalkers working for him, one way or another.

    He's a busy lizard, ain't he?

Of course, as I'm sure was said before, your health is the most important thing. A week extra to wait? No biggy. I'm sure that most of us wouldn't mind waiting for several weeks, as long as the author was in good health. Rest and relax. I'm certain you deserve it :).

    Back ground, I can give.

I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada. All that means is that I live in a very...very small town. More boring then...I don't know, really.

Anyway, I came out as bi alittle while ago, and most of my friends where supportive. I didn't have many troubles, other then the odd joke. The trouble started when I told my family. But thats something for another time.

I've been playing magic for around 6 years. Got a bf in my play group, shocking. And...thats me in a nut shell. I'm pretty dull, actually :p.

So, just jump into things, huh? I think I can manage that lol.

Hmm. I popped in here before...sort of forgot about it. Wish I hadn't. Probably would have saved me a few headaches :p.

Anyway...I'm hopeful that I could...maybe...join in alittle more? I don't know. Just nice finding a place where I'm not getting the crap beat out of me, I guess.

Fae, plus merrow...oh my...thats a headache straight from Oona. At least it ain't Cinders. Then both of them would likely be dead already :o. I really can't wait to see what you got in store. This really is getting good :).

ps: I can't say how bloody glad I am to hear that there won't be that over the top, mushy nonsense some (bad) authors pass as romance. Thank Heavens (or the Inferno, whichever ya'd prefer ;)) for that.

Oh dear...Shadowmoor, awaken. If thats what has happened, then sadly for little Ranewen, she's in a heap of trouble. I hope to heaven that Ashling isn't a monster any longer. Although, if these are boggarts, she's got enough to worry about. Oh this will be soo much fun :D.

Ok, now for the review, so to speak. The battle was very well done. It was a very easy, comphrensible read. The ambush by the elves makes sense, and was almost exactly what I would have excpected.

And...Jace...oh Jace. I was worried you'd pull a stupid romance thing where they fall into passion and then the drama is all about how they balence love and the knowledge that one of them could die...yeah...Thankfully, you didn't. You handled it very, very well. In fact, I have no doubt that you could handle the romantic parts for any characters.

I am absloutly blown away by this so far, and I eagerly await the coming updates :D.

Well, I'm glad I could bring alittle joy up :). Really, I doubt you need to stress that much. You made the one character I absolutly hated (Jace) and made me actually like a version of him. That in and of itself is a feat I've rarely seen.

And...wait...Friday? We get 2 updates this week?!

    YES!!! YES!!!

Ahem...now that I've had my Bison moment...I eagerly await the second update. Should be the highlight of my week :).

Exposition is often one of the hardest things to do. Too often, it just ends up with one character telling trivial things, with random bits of important stuff scattered throughout. Once again, you avoid the old traps.

The detail of the arm, along with the summoning of Akroma, were excellently done. The break-down of what Sorin did, along with the possiblity of Jace...maybe putting the old bloodsucker in his place...really works for me. I don't know how, but you made Jace really badass. I really have to give you props for that.

And finally...Lorwyn. My first real set...and one of my favorites. My first two decks were made from Lorwyn/Shadowmoor. If there was anyone I'd trust to write about this plane, it would be you. After all, you did New Phyrexia right. You did Zendikar right. You even got modern Urborg right. I can't wait to see what happens next. Smile

Acquired? As in took from? But, the only time that would have happened is when Jace...oh dear...could that be...oh dear me :o. Thats...actually really awesome of Jace, if its what i think it is. Wow...thats sort of dark, when I think about it like that. Awesome, but dark :p.

All things come to those who wait...and it was worth it!

Akroma...one of my all time fave angels (both in the canon, and as a card) appears, and as a planeswalker! This is too good to be true. And the best part? It does make sense, in a way. Jace is an illusionist, as was Ixidor. If a rush of emotion, unbidded and charged with power could create her, another should be able to give her life again. And besides, who knows how dead she was? Karona was a bit of a mess anyway, so it makes sense that she could be recovered from nothingness.

As an aside...Etherium? Mhm. Seems Jace learned something from ol' Tezzy afterall. Wink

And is that the hint of a love triangle I spy between Jace, Venser, and Rana? Oh I love this alot. Smile

More then worth the wait. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapters, as always. And, for the record...that cliffhanger from last time? Perfect payoff. Grin

You are good. That is a cliff-hanger to be proud of. Really. I'm betting it's not Elspeth...and it's not Gideon...but then...who? Ajani, perhaps? Or someone brand new? Oh dear this is gonna drive me nuts. Very well done. And...umm...Jace and Venser are badass. OMG
