It's kinda weak, but I could see it being fun to play. Maybe in a pillow fort deck that slow-rolls and drains life, like Ghost Council of Orzhova.
Just because many aggro creatures do a lot more than 2 doesn't make the 2 negligible. It puts you behind the players you aren't swinging at. Life might not mean much in some metas, but in many casual settings it's worth noting.
I think most people would want to save removal for something that demands a more immediate answer and swing at their other opponents rather than pay to swing at you.
Sometimes I just feel like trying something different. I think the only cards I've boarded in in the past while is Sword of Kaldra, Fauna Shaman, Regal Force, and maybe Mana Reflection. Some of them are cards I used to play and I'm just running a comparison of the deck then & now. It's more for me to keep deck building options in the back of my mind than anything.
Nacatl War-Pride can usually match their tokens. They also work really well with Kamahl as a general. I'm surprised they don't make more lists. Animate a few lands, swing, overrun, blow up lands AND get loads of damage through! Still good in other green decks, too.
Basically, my hope is to get Ooze out quick with Civilized Scholar in the yard, then dump the deck in, make ooze big with Grimmy & Keeper, Make Ooze Unblockable with Souleater, go. I'm a little iffy on getting haste. I want it, but I'm not sure how to get it easiest. I've got postmortem Lunge in there if ooze gets killed, and that gets haste, so...
Well, I know nothing of standard.
Anyone have any comments/suggestions?
So, who's everyone's favorite golden girl? I was always a fan of Betty White's charm. She seems like such a nice person. I wish her another 20 years of health, bless her soul.

Not too bad. I'd consider running in a casual GCO orBasandra, Battle Seraph deck, or other pillowforty things like Michiko Konda, truth Seeker.

I cut the myrs and countermagic in favor of Spellskites and Oxida Daredevils. 4 more creatires at 2 seems like a good thing.
I also went to more looting effects, as they just set the deck up so well. Oxida-Scholar-Ooze is perfect for Pod, so I think I'm happy with that.
When it comes to playing generals for their art, it influences me. Mostly I just play horrific monsters and attractive ladies.

Why not, did he lose a bet or something? What's the story behind that avatar?
