    Fun story, my first draft of Glissa, the Traitor had Leyline of the Void in it. Then I realized it completely disabled her recursion ability. Then they errata'd it to use the word "dies" instead of "is put into a graveyard from the battlefield" and I tried using it again. Then, I found out "dies" means "is put into a graveyard from the battlefield" and had to cut it again. Rolleyes

    Ghostly Prison-like effects can work out pretty well sometimes. Let your opponent use your creatures to kill off your other opponents, get them back EOT, profit!

    As a fellow Ulasht player, I hear your plight. Ulasht does terrible things with enchantments. However, there are some similar things you can do with a number of artifacts that Ulasht is really good at abusing. You might try filling your deck with some of those, so you have an easier time drawing into them. Then, you can also run Godo, Bandit Warlord and Hoarding Dragon and go to town.

    Feel free to check my list out, too. It plays in a sort of toolbox fashion. I haven't really put much into writing it out as a primer yet, but... well, there's something there. :p

    I think she's great. (seriously, 11 posts ignoring the nice lady in the picture? for shame!) Having the ability to return her right to hand built in really makes her a star. I wouldn't get rid of Acidic Slime for her, though.

    I love it... But then again I like risky cards to begin with. I've won many games off the back of this card. 2-for-1'd? A few times. It's pretty easy to avoid. Sometimes I'll play it on a creature I don't mind losing just to ensure the real money gets through. I actually find it versatile in that sense. Smile

    Big black mana Maga finishes too quickly. It's a game. With Drana there's more interaction. You can have fun with Drana. With Maga it's just a race to get in as big as possible in one shot and finish instantly. While it might be fun for you, it tends to leave your opponents a little unsatisfied.

    Jhoira draws a lot of fire. To combat this, teach her some Judo. Throw all the misdirection, theft, and spell manupulation you can, and take all they throw at you and throw it back at them.

    That, at suspend control/copy effects before the big threats hit the table, and just keep adding time counters to them while your opponents get nervous about playing their creatures. It's like bluffing, only you're clearly not bluffing.

    Nacatyl War-Pride is tech with Kamahl. Turn your opponent's lands into creatures and swing to blow 'em up, overrun to get loads of damage through in the process. It's an incredibly underrated card.

    Also, Umezawa's Jitte gives Kamahl a lot of versatility. Thornbite Staff does a solid job of wrecking manabases as well.

    It's decent recursion.

    Have you considered Nacatyl War-Pride? It can really put a beating on your opponents' manabases combined with Kamahl's first ability.

    Throw in his overrun and it's 5 damage for each land you animated for them to trample, plus all your other creatures that get there. For 11 mana, animate 6 lands, swing with Kamahl and Pride, use Kamahl's overrun ability... At least 6 Nacatyl do 5 damage(taking lands with them), at least 1 gets through for 6, Kamahl gets through for 7. 43 damage to the face. Good synergy.

    Edit: sorry didn't see the 'no' land destruction in the combos you mentioned. I haven't had my coffee yet. Smile
