What would, the game and object at hand actually be? Because i can think of examples of when something would not bounce off at the same angle that it entered in.
First 2 packs I ever bought on RTR release day, both packs had a foil Trostani, Selesnya's Voice and a nonfoil Armada Wurm each. 2 packs, 4 mythics all GW.
That's the time you wish you were in a PTQ sealed event :/
Then you have to ship those openings off to another player.....makes for a sad panda.
I would stay away from black as long as possible. My gf has a problem in seeing how using your life as a resource is good.
To further this point try to stay away from effects that help your opponent out a little for a bigger effect for you. Which i think does make G(r/w) beats a good starting point. Just be ready to field questions of "Why does it feel like your deck is breaking the rules" or something similar.
Exhume doesn't target anything in a graveyard, so regardless you can play it whenever you want. So what you described is true even in paper magic and is a basis of most reanimation decks in general.
With the purtid imp thing, his activiated ability does not require him to tap, so you can do it on the turn he comes into play. I am not sure why the game is not letting you use his ability at instant speed tho.
I think i would choose The Tabernacle of Pendrell Vale. Its easily build around me, but is good enough in almost any control build that you do not have to consider it a build around me card.
If you like Death and Taxes, i think overall thats the better deck in general. But if you don't like to play that kind of deck, then i don't think that is the way to go. I know a lot of people see the game as an investment, but its a game first, play what you like to play, and use the secondary investment value as a bonus.
I think it'll be fun to draft to be honest. I really love drafting but don't get much of a chance to do it. I'll be drafting as much as i can with Conspiracy.
I think ajani vengant is an interesting choice. I never thought about it as port 5-6. Its interesting to say the least, but i'm not sure where it would fit in, or where Kiora would fit in either, and i believe that is the problem, not necessiarly that there are better options for planeswalkers, but that there isn't real room to squueze them in.
I think mainly people are playing delver more for the fact that once you get the blue shell, you can then play multiple decks by getting low amount of cards. Why would you want to play another delver deck? Because they are different decks, each one offers something the other doesn't. If you ever played against UR Delver you know it plays different from RUG Delver. As a pilot against those two decks, if you don't know they are different decks, then you are probably going to lose.

In Stax it really only messes with Mox Diamond and Elspeth, and its crippling with the other tax effects going on.
