Another thing the Impersonator gains over Metamorph is not inheriting the artifact supertype when copying non-artifact permanents. It's going to be difficult to get copies of, but I want to try and get a playset. I'm pretty thoroughly in the camp of Impersonator > Metamorph.
The main thing Metamorph has over Impersonator for me is that it's recurrable with Academy Ruins. Plus Metamorph is easier on 3+ color mana bases.
Eye of Doom Sauron's Eye is a pretty neat card. It's selling point is that you control when it detonates. That said, I'm not sure it's worth 6 mana but it allows for some nice political shenanigans.
And Primal Vigor? Only run it in dedicated builds or group hug.
Bane of Progress seems pretty fair to me. Right after you use it what's the point of blinking or copying it? After everything's gone you're just left with blinking/copying a 2/2 creature with no evasion. It's not like blinking/copying Sylvan Primordial where you always are getting value.
I would include the prophet if we didn't already have cards that basically do what it does. We have Alchemist's Refuge to give our cards flash and SoFaF to untap our mana. True neither of those untaps our creatures but I, personally, almost never attack with more than one creature at a time anyways (especially if I have a sword equipped).
Well I'm definitely not getting a box of Theros now. These lands will unnecessarily clog up any packs I open I can feel it. I mean they aren't bad, but since we just got shockland reprints opening these will just leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Am I the only one that likes the spoilers so far? True they may not be very good power-level wise, but from a flavor standpoint it's been a home-run in my opinion. Maybe it's because Greek mythology is among my favorite subjects but I also just plain love the mystical feel of the set so far.
I think I'd actually like the gods to be just enchantments more often than not. There are only a handful of cards in the game that can actually exile enchantments and the effects they give seem awesome. Can't wait for Erebos.

There's my 2 1/2 cents.
Much sorrow as a blue player.
