I feel kind of stupid for not putting in grim lavamancers or something in there, seal of fire is fast and stuff, but if a deck drops stuff past my early counters I'd really need lava boy(or maybe that little 0/3 wall that bounces what it blocks back to hand) to keep from being overran.
Hmm, that wall would also help the fact that this deck has no permanent way to kill a pro-red outside counterspells.
Aether burst is much more fun in a multiplayer deck, where you convince as many of your friends as possible to play this exact deck, but take out boomerangs for aether burst and fire/ice for flame burst and FoF for AK.
Too bad its extended only, and a turn 7 combo, unless you were to put it out via reanimation or suprise deployment (3W play during combat, put a non-white creature into play, EOT return it to hand) with a need for speed or something in play.
Then its only a 5 mana combo, but it needs more cards, and another color.
Maybe hes best simply as a 4 of finisher in a u/r control deck that tries and pull off isocron scepter abuse, since the chrome mox that those decks run puts him in play faster?
22 Land
4 Mox
4 Counterspell
4 Mana Leak
4 Boomerang
4 Isocron Scepter
4 Seal of Fire
4 Fire/ Ice
4 Fact or Fiction
4 Niv Mizzet
4 Curiosity
62 cards, runs more counter than burn, has a little bounce, and can randomly win on the effective first turn 62 card lucky number too.
Too bad starcitygames only has 5 scepters in stock, and they are all foils for 9-10 dollars
If your going to base the deck so heavy on the guy, you need to run some mana acceleration.
Heres my take on an izzet multiplayer deck, extended.
24 Lands
4 U/R Painland
4 U/R Shockland
4 Faerie Conclave
4 Ghitu Enchampment
1 Legendery Blue Kamigawa Land
1 Red Legendary Kamigawa Land
1 Island
1 Mountain
4 Chrome Mox
4 Isocron Scepter
4 U/R Talisman 1T:UR bit
4 Seal of Fire
Loads of protection for the 8 (16) creatures played in the deck, can get a first turn boomerang scepter going for good times, as it can completely negate the player who beat up on you a previous game 1 of sorceries + recoup lets you do silly things a couple times a game.
DS is cool, mostly because there are games that would be fun on GBA, but they dont offer non-DS versions. Like advance wars, the GBA one is cool, but Duel Strike is a much bigger and better game.
130 dollars for a DS!! Trade in the SP and come play Animal Crossing or something :-p
PSP isnt bad for a game system, but for the kind of stuff I see people playing on it all the time (some racing game, and some sort of tactical squad shooter) I'd rather be at home for those
On the other hand, the vast majority of the DS games feel like portable games, and the "must haves" people talk about, are just fantastic.
Mario Kart
Advance Wars
Castlevania
Each is 35 bucks, and loads of fun, I have 9 DS games myself, and they all fit in the small left breast pocket in my car heart Its good.
For Movies, when are you going to have time to watch a movie on the PSP? On a long trip? Why not have a real portable DVD player with a 7 or 9 inch screen? You can get them for like 200-300 dollars depending on brand and sale.
Are your Ipod Videos stuff you downloaded from that service, or from your machine?
Does anyone here have a DS? Odds are good that I have a game I could play with/against you
Der.
That is if it wasnt the same T2 thread
I want to go ramble about Reins of Power goblin bombardment.
Also, does anyone know if when you use that 2w/r rare that you choose who the opponent attacks in multiplayer?
Hmm, that wall would also help the fact that this deck has no permanent way to kill a pro-red outside counterspells.
I just started posting a little here yesterday on a lark, Will a hello in a bit.
Will see if I cant liven the place up a bit
If you want to make the deck playing, look for a particular white instant from planeshift for the answer.
Then the good times roll.
Also, you can tap scepter in response to put it back into your hand in response to an artifact kill to keep it alive.
Then its only a 5 mana combo, but it needs more cards, and another color.

I just followed a link here, didnt notice it said standard.
Still, kind of silly making standard decks for a color pair we still know very little about, even if we know more about it than w/b or r/g

Like or dislike?
How did you guys make your decks clickable?

Its was intended to be smoke coming out, like a pipe smoke, but came out more like I was making a flamethrower
I shoulda posted here long ago!
