Nov 7, 2015Spawnman62 posted a message on The Magic Street Journal: How to Handle "That Guy"I did. I felt that the article went from a 0 shaming policy into the depths of how a person feels when consistently discriminated against. A lot can be done by simply communicating the issue with the people doing it or just speaking with the store owner. That's pretty much it. Kicking a dead horse is kicking a dead horse.Posted in: Articles

Sorry, I didn't see the promo writing until now. Funny how your vision works better with sleep.
No promo card in your Kolaghan seed pack?
Have you been on the receiving end of a Wrench Mind while not playing affinity? Let's just assume you're on the play because you lost game 1. You either eat a Goblin Guide or a bolt equivalent. T2 you play wrench mind. They go from 5 cards in hand to 3. Why? because they don't play artifacts! This is on top of your 1st turn hand disruption. If you don't get the 1st turn Duressor equivalent, then they only have 4 cards in hand. They effectively need to draw 2 more bolts (assuming they have only 1 land and all bolts) or life just got hard for them. Play burn like you'd play combo. Drain their hands fast.
Try Wrench Mind, Pharika's Cure, Monastery Siege May help your cause.
No other utility lands for Kotr? Dryad Arbor? Bojuka Bog? Also, with your deck being mostly green for costs, would you suggest keeping the basic mountain or replace it with a different basic? Woolly Thoctar over Loxodon Smiter? Is the one additional power worth it? How often do you see Qasali Pridemage with only 2? I'm sorry for the inquisition on this list, but it seems everywhere on the 2-3 drops.
Indeed. Might I suggest spoilers for the walls of text that you have generated?
As to extrapolate on my initial inquiry, I feel that it would be in our best interests to at the very least create an introductory guide to the wonderful world that is commander. In it, there should probably be the basics of the format. From what commander is, to how to build a deck. More importantly, I do remember a sticky that has appeared to be removed that had described the creation of commander decks. I feel that either it needs to be "re-stuck" or another thread needs to be created to fulfill that purpose. Commander isn't just for those who know the ins and outs of MtG. There needs to be a "level 0", a place to guide newer players. That is my request.
